OhioGuy: Yes I did try upping my DD cals first - months ago. Didn't work. I'm hoping the exercise will help.

Great post. i noticed the same thing on hcg; that sometimes the body responds to change. it seems to get used to any approach after a couple of months and responds well to something different.

This thread led me to looking into the MUDDD method, and I'm so grateful!
I did gangbusters on traditional JUDDD rotations for the first week, and then really struggled and just kept bouncing up for a couple of weeks. I started MUDDD on Tuesday and have reclaimed the loss I'd had originally, plus six extra pounds as of this morning - total of 15 lost since I started last Tuesday. I find it a lot easier mentally and physically to split my days - my cut-off is at noon. Just wanted to share in case anyone is really struggling like I was. Here's the thread in Other Plans for MUDDD - it's kept there so that this forum doesn't get cluttered with confusing information for newbies... PJ's *Muddd'ing*

How do you really know how many calories you are eating on your Up Days if you don't physically measure out your foods and portions with measuring cups & spoons or you don't weigh your ingredients on a scale? Guesstimating is only as accurate as your ability to accurately guess is, and if you are running into trouble with weight-loss-slowdown, the only change that might be needed to rev up your rate-of-loss could perhaps just be in following JUDDD more accurately. Words of wisdom. Many of the posts that I've read where someone is not losing weight, it is often very simple. They either aren't really doing Juddd or they are not respecting their calories. yeah, i wonder about that.
i personally dont cook much any more which is the opposite of lc i eat out and often at subway but i have gone thru all my favorite places to eat and checked out calories found a meal to fit me at each place so i know exactly what im getting i found it funny how many things hit the 500 calorie mark |
