Cheesecake for breakfast! Why didn't I think of that? That is a fantastic idea!

It's awesome, I could only get through half the slice...I'll eat the rest later!

I don't like cheesecake, but now I'm craving the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Hmmm. They have some awesome items on their Skinnylicious menu.

Just popping in to say how much I admire you all for your patience and determination.

And to thank Adi for the laugh I got over 'goat' weight. Wonderful.

I am giving that whoosh fairy a good talking to too, she is overdue visiting you.

TOM can be so mean. Congratulations on breaking the stall

For me, after much experimentation, I have learned I have to eat about 500 calories for lunch on UD or I stall. Which is sad because I am rarely hungry before dinner DD or UD.

Keep experimenting! Find the eating pattern that works best for you! And, if it involves cheesecake, CELEBRATE!

I adore cheesecake. Can you tell?

Had my post-op checkup today. Up 7 lbs. on the scale , but as I mentioned before, my clothes still feel good, so it's gotta be all WATER! Kissa reminded me that all gains are water, all losses are fat.

I thought I came for support, camaraderie and support

But apparently I come for the comedians!!! You girls are funny!

TooMuchBooty-I love your name, it's the greatest! Good idea on measuring. You may want to take weekly pictures also. Sometimes our eyes play tricks on us since we can't see gradual changes. Also, from other threads, I know things have been stressful for you. Stress makes my scale hold and show no losses. So keep your fingers crossed it has to start moving

Pirate Jenny-We're all funny about the scale. I only take my first weigh, (unless the second or third is lower)

Gotsomeold- "Rarely hungry" that's not a statement that I've ever typed and those words have never come out of my mouth!

What a way to wake up~ giggling myself silly. People may start staring. lol

No ice cream? That's just wrong! I can live without cheesecake, but chocolate cake is another matter.
Thankfully, my TOM days are way behind me.
My scale likes to taunt & tease me. I'll get on, and it flickers between 181.5 and 182, and then goes up to 183.5.
Almost 5 weeks on JUDDD. I've stayed pretty steady between 183 & 184. I'm pretty sure my UD are too up, and my DD not down enough. I'm trying really hard to correct that, but the fact that I'm eating carbs and not gaining is making me rather happy, actually.

I Googled "savory cheesecake" and there are a lot of recipes out there!

Basically, any kind of quiche recipe could be adapted to a savory cheesecake.

But "potato chip crust" PLUS "savory cheesecake"...I'd claim that as an original idea, if I weren't sort of ashamed of it!

Talk about a Paula-Deen-style recipe, though!

All this cheesecake talk is making me hungry! I might just try that cheesecake for breakfast thing again today.

My weight jumped back up a lb, annoying. *sigh*

I do think I've lost some fractions of inches, so that is a start. Going to keep on trucking because this WOE is so much more enjoyable than the others I've tried.

I really do have a sick love affair with cheesecake. I don't need a man, unless he owns a Cheesecake Factory

As I see it, weight is just a #. For me, inches/clothes size is a better indicator of things. There's a discussion on this on the main forum. I'd rather be 10-15 lbs above my "ideal" weight and my body fat be lower, than at my ideal weight with a high body fat. KWIM?

I agree. The only downside is when your weight is required (i.e., insurance), they could care less what your fat stat is.

~~~
Note to self: Do NOT come in this thread on a DD when there is talk of cheesecake!!!
Yeah...it's that stupid BMI thing. I still think society should judge base on BODYFAT% than a scale #.
Happy to report a downward motion again. Dropped down about 1.5lbs and yesterday was an upday!
I had an IUD inserted today. I was expecting a lot of pain, but it went smoothly. I'll spare you the details. I've been home resting on the couch. It's supposed to be a DD but I feel a serious need for a nourishing meal. The anticipation of the IUD really stressed me out. I have had about 400 calories today...dinner will probably be another 400. Nothing crazy.
Katie - Agree on both!
TMB - Hope you're feeling better soon.
I can't seem to get my act together. I was going to be more diligent in keeping track of my calories beginning in August, but as I confessed to someone in a PM, I have not. I did start exercising again (WATP), but only twice this week. I was going to last night, but was just too tired when I got home. I'm seven weeks out from my surgery, but realistically I know that there's still lots of healing going on which is keeping me up and down in my energy levels. I also know several who told me it was a few months before they felt like themselves again. So, I do keep that in mind.
I'm not blowing either day, and I'm eating what I did pre-surgery, so I have a handle on what my calorie intake is. But, I did want to begin keeping track to lose a few before our vacation just to make sure I'm within my limits. One big problem is I HATE counting calories. I adore "mixed" foods, i.e. casseroles, but I really dislike having to input everything in my counter of choice to get a count. I need to stick with easy-to-count foods I guess!
I'll be so glad when I can come in here and celebrate something instead of being a downer all the friggin' time!!
