I may never reach my "goat or goal" weight.

Glad to hear you were slow as well. Well, you know what I mean, misery loves company.

I'll take goat weight!!

Can't believe it today. I didn't have a bounce after my UD yesterday. Shocking, absolutely shocking!!! I always have a bounce up after an UD. I was pleasantly surprised to see me at the same weight as yesterday. Although I look forward to hitting my previous low (from May ) and movin' on down!

Keeping my fingers crossed Vanilla!

I never weigh after UD anymore. I like to have a "no drama" DD.

This makes me think you're still healing. Your body is most likely starting to feel well enough to not hold on to every last stinking calorie. I'm hoping for better weigh-ins for you in your near future.

Now the one in my picture is just a baby. She is 4 months old in that picture so she is way too small for my "goat" weight.
And Chloe the goat (my resident herd queen) is a whopping 200 pounds so we won't use her as a goat (goal) weight either. I need to select one in the middle range.

I think sometimes we just have to be patient since our bodies probably know what they are doing when it comes to losing steadily. It can be SO frustrating to be doing everything right and nothing happens. BUT something is happening somewhere inside of us. Hopefully I was losing some fat that might have been around an organ and should not have been there during thhe past 6 weeks.
Now I am looking forward to August and losing the next 4 pounds since I was averaging around a mount a week before the slow down. I should be at my goat weight by Christmas. SLOW but sort of steady.
Adi: When P.J. said goat weight I went whaaa?? and went back to find your post. What were those goats DOING when you were watching them? Were you watching them while you were typing?? You are adorable!!!

You really have made such great progress and you look so thin in your Avatar! I'm glad you talked about not losing in June. In March I lost 6 pounds which I was so darn happy about. April I just maintained. Now I lose a wee bit, then sit with that for a while before dropping a wee bit more.

I'm convinced you are right about our bodies doing good things on the inside though. All the slow losses really add up as you are proving.

I can hear my young doelings calling me when I am on my computer and they were probably screaming for their dinner while I was typing. They aren't quiet about their feeding time.

And I ended June the exact same weight as the first day of June and July hasn't been much better until suddenly I started losing again. Sure hope it keeps up.

Thanks, Sunday! Yeah, I think from now on I'll only weigh after a DD. Kind of started since yesterday I didn't weigh or today since Sundays are a MD for me.

I think my "goat" ran away, lol. I was hoping I wouldn't be posting on this thread, but here I am. I was a slow loser on LC (about a pound a week when I was really trying), and it seems I'm an even slower loser on JUDDD. Started out at 184.5 19 days ago, went up to 185.5, down to 183, now at 183.5. I'm pretty sure it's just my body adjusting to the carbs, which I've been eating with total abandon since I started JUDDD. I just can't make myself do LC JUDDD, although I guess I really don't have to eat a pint of ice cream on every UD.
I'm going to try a week without milk, bread & cereal. I think one of those is the reason my stomach has been upset, plus I don't need the "white" carbs. And since my ice cream is chocolate, I'm not counting it as a 'white" carb.

Hello everyone, I don't know if I'm a slow loser yet...but I thought I'd join this thread for the motivation to stay the course. I've lost about 4 lbs in 2 weeks of JUDDDing. That isn't bad, but it's not great either. My weight has been stuck for the last 5 days. Although that is annoying, it still feels good to know that I'm not gaining. My weight was a runaway train for the last year, the breaks are finally on again!

I plan to take my measurements tonight, because I think that will help me see a difference. The scale is so fickle.

It is really nice to eat without fear of carbs!

Well, I lost over 20 pounds eating carbs with wild abandon on UD's. And is there any other way to eat ice cream than the whole pint? (maybe the whole half gallon which I did one day) Love my ice cream BUT I have had to put it on the back burner since I have gotten closer to my goal weight. Darn.
BUT I kept DD's really low to make up for the UD's which worked for a long time. I am sad to report I am now having to be MUCH MORE careful of my UD's. I am down to more like 1/2 pound loss a week but then I am within 5 pounds of my original goal weight and 10 pounds to my revised weight. Reality has hit.
I don't eat wheat but prefer Mint chocolate chip ice cream and it is green so I guess I can continue with it. Thanks for the idea.

I was so sure I would see a loss on the scale today. Nothing!

I took my measurements this morning, hoping those numbers will be more encouraging.

toomuchbooty, I just looked at your blog. The mere word "chocolate" caught my eye. Oh, my.

Well, this is my jinx in the making, but I'm my body has healed enough that the scale will start moving downward again. I'm holding steady, or it might be my body is utilizing every single calorie I'm pouring into it on my UDs which is why I'm not gaining (jinx waring!). I sure hope Miss Whooshie Fairy will descend upon me soon.

Even my boyfriend devours them, and he takes his chocolate very seriously. His dad is a chocolatier!

So, another day without scale movement. It's so strange. The scale has not fluctuated by a fraction for a week. I was expecting some sort of swing, but nothing. I'm going to have to try standing on it holding a weight to see if the battery is working! It's just so bizarre!

TMB--I *always* get on my scale with a weight, step off, then step back on. The digital ones I've had don't seem to register changes of less than a pound.

I'm totally confused today. Sigh.
I was losing in April & May. Had a car accident in June, sort of maintained/lost a little.
Weight went up inexplicably in July.
Now...it's going down again!!!
AND I DON'T KNOW WHY!!!

I mean, I'm glad, of course, but I don't know what I'm doing that's helping,
so I don't know what I should continue doing, KWIM?!?!

I went from weighing between 270 to slightly under 269 most of the time (best averages in May & June: 269.2, 268.8, 268.6)
to weighing over 270 all the time & up to 273.8 (avg 272.1) for a couple weeks.
Two weeks ago, down a little (avg 270.4); last week, up a little (avg 270.9);
this morning, 268.8!!!
I haven't seen anything under 269 in 4 weeks.

Ok, YAY! But also, WHY?!!!
(that's rhetorical! haha!!!)

Yes, there was a typo!!!
Thank you!!!

I do that all the time...It's been so long since I've been in the 260s, I always mess that up.

If I send you any confusion, it may result in taking 3 months to lose 0.2lbs...I wouldn't wish that on anyone!!! Oh, wait, unless you're in maintenance? lol!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes a weight on the scale to test it's accuracy. I went ahead and changed the battery as well. It briefly showed me a 0.2lb loss...but then it went right back to the same ol' same ol'.

I just know it's going to give soon, I've been such a good girl!

Seriously, another day without a slight fluctuation! Since when is my weight so stable that it doesn't go up or down at all for a over a week? I'm glad I took those measurements. When I did them again today, there were definitely some losses.

Yay, PJ, that gives me hope!!! I was up after a DD . I'm really trying to stay optimistic, though. I'm drinking my water, more so with the addition of DE now. I'm so ready to start moving on down!!

TMB (aka toomuchbooty), I'm always saying I'll be awesome when I'm in maintenance with the non-flunctuations. IF I ever get there!

I step on my digital with one foot before taking the actual weight for the day, too. Odd how those things get stuck!!

I'm up after a lot of DDs too, if that helps. I know how it is. I also will go down or maintain after a UD too. It is strange. Generally though, I've been maintaining. Sometimes, you are just retaining water. You are doing great! I'm so glad to see you sticking it out!

Okay, I'm trying something new today. It's an UD, so I'm going to try to eat more fat and see what happens. I'm starting the day with a slice of cheesecake (I know, I'm such a martyr). That, combined with my coffee and cream is a solid 500 calories. My lunch is chicken salad on corn thins, 1 tbsp of mayo.I have some fruit for snacks. Dinner, I'm not sure but I still have about 1200 calories to play with!
