, Trying, I hear and feel your pain! I have nothing to offer other than more . I tend to do great during the week, but the weekends I drink very little water and eat a few more carbs which I know adds to the scale.

If your clothes still fit okay, it's gotta be salt and preservatives. Saturday when I weighed I was 1 lb. over my original JUDDD start weight. But, my clothes still feel okay.

I'd LOVE to trade bodies with Kim, Yam, Dawn, Nancy or any of the others who are dropping weight like nobody's business and let them figure out my body.

Hang in there, maybe your body is having one of those periods of hanging onto the weight before giving up and letting it go.

YA know.. its funny.. there are others i would love to trade bodys with too I think in part. we always see a greener grass somplace else.. I have to say.... I wanted to cry the other day when i read Noweight post about how see cant seam to find peace with her own body at this time.. even though she has lost weight soooo fast!~ I have envied her.. and wished that i could be like her.. The world seams to fill us full of self doubt, self hate.. based on a dang number! GRRR.. I know how she feels.. I to am there.. Never happy with what i have lost.. I see the same ole tired fat lady staring back in my mirror.. The one thing that has made this weight loss any fun or rewarding.. is to come here and share it with all of you~ If not for all of you.. i feel like i go un-noticed.. and thats really sad to me.. I just wanted to share my feelings with you all today~

You guys are great support. I just wish my own traitorous body was half as supportive!

I don't think I have been perfectly on plan as I had one UUAD on my birthday earlier this month and snuck a MD in last week to change rotations but isn't this plan supposed to be livable? I would call those minor transgressions. I weigh and measure most everything and like, gotsomeold I estimate way high when eating restaurant food. I exercise dutifully. It's the fairness thing that always gets me. Two months of work for nothing? I am owed some scale movement dang it and I don't even have anyone to be mad at!!!

Still not losing - and still whining and venting LOL! (sorry) I think I should try and put the scale away.

Hey, y'all were there for my vents, rants, and ! I always feel after I post some of my whines, yet I wish I could give physical hugs to others who are struggling, especially when it's still a good amount of weigh that still needs to be lost. So ...

Kim, you're so right about the grass/greener thing. A fact of life, I suppose, no matter what we achieve elsewhere in life!!

I feel much more in control of things now (disclaimer: this might be withdrawn at any given moment ) and am hoping to see the scale begin moving downward again. But ... we shall see.

I am going to seriously add this into my exercise routine. It works the same was actually as intermittent fasting but with exercise. For those of you that are doing steady state cardio and not seeing results, this is a great read. As a retired exercise professional, this is what I am going to add in using my recumbent bike!

Thank you and speaking for myself, it's the successful Juddders like your pretty self that keep me motivated (even when I'm doing MAJOR whining!).

I'm assuming this is the doing regular speed/bump it up a few notches/regular speed thing? 99 cents on a Kindle? Might invest in it!

You can look on Amazon for Burst. He is one of the very best trainers in the whole industry! He knows so much about how fat is broken down, utilized, burned, etc. He also practices intermittent fasting and has advocated it for years.

Where all are my turtle Juddd Budds? I am enjoying a long holiday weekend with the family but sticking to plan. I hope the scale holds some progress for me when I can weigh upon return. I hope the same for all of you!

This turtle is working on getting 9 goats clipped and groomed for a show next Friday so I will be hot, dirty and sweaty all day. It is a DD so maybe I will have a GREAT weigh in tomorrow. Also have a 3 day weekend.

My mom invited me to lunch with my aunt. I usually do MD on Sunday because I keep a set M/W/F DD schedule. I'm going to do my best to stay on the low end of calories, where ever we end up going for lunch.

I also wanted to mention here that my 6 week loss total is 8lbs. I know it could have been more had I been strict about staying at 500 calories on DD, but I am really happy with this number. This is a sustainable plan for me. I can maintain this for the year or so it should take me to get to goal. After I reach goal, I can eat the JUDDD maintenance levels indefinitely.

Slow and steady!

Well I've whined and vented enough on this thread about that dang scale I thought I should share some GOOD news as well. I finally dipped to a new low this morning, even after an UD!!! Hopefully September will be a productive month for us all! Thanks for all the support and helping me to stay the course.

Hooray!

I had a tough down day yesterday, I was cranky and definitely went over in calories. Still, my scale went down another .5lb, a minor miracle.

I know it seems counter intuitive, but I introduced a tbsp of coconut oil to my diet yesterday. It really worked for me when I was doing HCG, so I'm going to see if it helps with this. I'll count the calories.

I don't post on the boards over the weekend - just too busy usually!! I thought the long weekend would do me in, but I managed to hold yesterday to between a DD and MD. I weighed the same Saturday and today, so I'm okay with it.

Good job, TMB and TJ, on moving the turtle!

I have been feeling really bummed out with myself lately.

Someone posted a thread about where they were a year ago, and I got my journals out.

At the time (a couple weeks or maybe a month ago), I had officially lost 15lbs.

But then I looked at New Year's Day of this year, and I weighed exactly the same: 273.6.

I had gotten down to 268.8 a few times in June and July, and even seen 266.8 a couple times.

But in August and so far in Sept, my weight's been closer to 275-276.
I don't know what the heck is going on...although I suspect my anti-depressant.
My pharmacy has been giving me a different version of my generic medication; I had an appt with my doctor yesterday, and he said people can have reactions to the different fillers. So I'm going to ask my pharmacy to order the old one for me. I had meant to do this a couple months ago, but forgot!!!

I also realized that a couple Juddd Buddds started AFTER me, and have lost over 50 or 60lbs since October of last year or even January of this year.

I'm not asking for sympathy or advice or anything...I guess I'm just letting y'all know that I might not be hanging around here as much, because I feel more jealous and inadequate than inspired, and I haven't really been doing JUDDD for a few weeks...on DDs, I am so friggin' hungry all the time, and I get insomnia. I had a nice little "honeymoon" with JUDDD for a few months last year, but since then, it's been a misery and I don't feel any healthier or more energetic.

Good luck & & to you all!

PJ - I am sorry you are struggling and I have absolutely no words to help. You have given me so many ideas to pursue and I appreciate all of your insight so I feel your pain with no losses.
The idea of a one year checkup was intriguing though. I have not lost much the last month but I still feel like I am gaining health benefits. more energy, feel younger etc.
So I added two more pictures to my Before and After thread rather than start a new one.
Before and After

And my goat friends kept telling me I could not have lost 32 pounds since the state fair because I wasn't overweight to begin with. I had to go put these two pictures side by side and send them to my friends so they could see the difference. I was surprised that they just could not believe I had lost 32 pounds.

Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for you PJ.

I thought I noticed strain in some of your recent postings and was worried. I know it is almost impossible retain health and lose weight when your body is out of kilter. Get those medications straightened out, stabilize your body, then worry about weight loss. But don't be a stranger! for you.

No, no, no! No more. I love you too much PJ.

I don't know how many more of my mentors I can bear to see cutting back on their posting. PJ do you have any idea how much I value your knowledge and your input and your support?

So, no more about me. This is about you. I am so sorry you are not getting any benefits from JUDDD. I do know that you are really struggling with sleep.

But you add that you are not really JUDDING at the moment. Most of us had really hungry DDs at first, and if you aren't doing them regularly then they are always like a fresh start, maybe?

You are a wise woman, and if you have a new plan to help you lose the weight you clearly want to lose, then that is great. May we ask what you are thinking of?

I am thrilled to know we can count on your advice and expertise in the diabetic, and all the what I call 'clever' threads.

Thanks to you PJ, I believe I am a healthier woman, and because you are who you are I am also a happier woman. You make me smile.

Please don't go too far away, I am not alone in needing you.
