Kind of Here and Missing my Budds

Kidney stone is still in place and I am still miserable. Went for a scan yesterday and my STUPID insurance company wants me to wait til Monday morning

BUT the urologist gave me stronger painkillers which are making me

I have now been off my diet for 7 days. Gained 2 lbs (

) which annoys me but considering I've drank a few gallons of olive oil, not as bad as it could be and I'm entering that horrible TOM time (

)

I'm going to attempt a "real" DD tomorrow and lets all hope that the drugs don't make me quesy (sp?) and I end up eating huge platters of Nachos and pitchers of Margaritas (actually, that sounds really good).

Getting ready to read threads and try to catch up.

When your body is in stress and pain, it holds onto water, so don't worry about your "gain." I'm sure it's not a true gain of fat, but just a kind of recovery mechanism. I'm sorry you're not having any relief. My stones usually don't bother me too much except when they're released from my kidney and then again when they are passing. I end up with just a few days of pain, not long, drawn out pain like you're having.

Perhaps tomorrow should be a day filled with lovely pain killers AND a couple of margaritas! I know I shouldn't endorse that, but it's honestly what I would do.

I'd missed seeing you around, but was hoping you were doing better.

Hope you get this squared away real soon.

It looks to me like your JUDDD magic was carrying you along if you've had a lot of olive oil and only have a 2 pound gain. Don't fret a lot about your diet now, just try if you feel like it and if you don't, hop back when you have this resolved.

We will have a blast in Las Vegas (based on this comment alone.) The urologist pretty much said the same thing (except it was stupid dark beer). Maybe he wants to go to Vegas next year too?
