You're doing great Arlene! The ups and downs on the scale are to be expected - but I know how frustrating it can be! Hang in there

Awesome 2 threads!!! As a newbie (just finished my first DD) I needed to read these. Soooo afraid of food after doing 40 years of low calories under 1,200. Was hoping Atkins would save me, but after giving it my all for 1 month, I lost zilch, nada, zero. So here I am.

I found JUDDD by researching online how to speed up metabolism.

I've OD'd on reading up on JUDDD and all the wonderful posts. I JUDDD and haven't finished my first day

DD's are super easy for me - use to starving!
UD's will be fearful - I'm afraid of eating over 1,200, since I maintained 190 lbs. for 20 years at about 1,400. But I totally get what I've read about how JUDDD works. Really sounds unbelievable.

Will be posting more soon on the weigh-ins and newbie threads. I'm really, really hoping JUDDD will heal my broken metabolism. It sounds like it has for all of you.

All you JUDDDer's sound so upbeat, friendly and happy. I know why - you're having so much success!!! You all love JUDDD so much and want to help others who are suffering.

God bless all of you,
Heather

Thanks for the welcome Arlene and Sheridan. I've been lurking on JUDDD threads and following all of you guys' stats. So happy for your 11 lb loss in May Arlene, as I know you were unsure in the beginning if JUDDD would work. So I was watching your posts to see if it did - and YES it did

My first DD yesterday. Lost 2 lb

Wow, look at that woosh! Arlene you're doing so well! This is why we shouldn't fear that bouncing scale on JUDDD. What goes up must come down.

Heather, welcome! I have faith that JUDDD will work for you like it does for us.

RenoMom I'm so excited about how much weight you have lost. One day a couple weeks ago I was bored and browsing the different forums on low-carb, trudging through yet another day of egg fasting and I happened upon your post and decided to give it a shot. I've been really happy since and dropped 4 lbs while eating delicious food so I wanted to say Thank You because without your success I wouldn't be here.

Arlene,

This is my favorite thread. I watch your progress every day.

Your May loss of 11 lb. convinced me to start JUDDD June 6 and I'm succeeding on it also.

I love this thread not only because it's exciting to see your progress, but for all the questions you asked and how the experienced JUDDDers answered you. All that info got me up and running on JUDDD. I decided to read it again through today, to see if I missed any advice they all gave you.

So thank you Arlene, and also to all you JUDDDers who are helping her. This thread is no doubt helping alot of other lurkers since the title is "Can I lose weight on JUDDD?" That title is a real hook to catch us Newbies.

Keep going Arlene - Remember, I'm right next to you. And we've got all this support. We're doing it right.

Your Newbie JUDDD BUDDD ,
Heather
