Todays stats and Im enjoying my UD My Dh made me two eggs and bacone for breakfast and a I had a yummy turkey sandwich at lunch and we are having Pizzaof all things for dinner. I'll be sure to get in all my UD calories today, LOL.

Im a bit worried about WI tomorrow. I gained 3lbs and so to be at a new number Id need to lose all that and some.

I did stay in my low day cals but I was out in the hot sune all day, drank tons of water but ate a hot dog and bun, plus one plain and my coffee. Im at about 530 cals for the day.

Arlene, those 3 pounds are simply water. They could leave as quickly as they came, or they could take a few days to go. You need to remember that the "ball bounces" at our weigh ins and you can't expect a linear drop every, single day. You've been doing phenomenally, but there will come a time when you're going to start bouncing a bit. It's perfectly normal, and shouldn't be feared.

Thanks Dawn, I know your right. I knew it wasnt gong to be good when I woke up and my fingers are all swolen. I think with a combination of the heat all day, and the sodium filled hot dogs, I'm retaining water big time.

Arlene, being out in the sun and heat all day almost always makes me wake up w/ puffy fingers even if I've really pushed the water. Don't fear, it'll be gone pretty quick.

OMG I know I had an UUAD. I ate 3/4 of a big buger, with lettuce,tomatoe,onion,avacodo and bacon. Half the garlic fries and diet coke, I shared my meal with my daughter. Then DH and I split a warm brownie sundae, and we stopped at Maverick on the way home and got a small coffee. I am stuffed. It was delish but oh am I gonna pay on the scale in the morning.

Congratulations on proving you are human.

This is usually a very good thing to know.

Now you can move forward with tuning changes, learning about how your body works and what it needs, figuring out if the extra sodium/eating two days ago had an impact on yesterday's eating or if there are triggers in yesterday's delightful meal that you need to avoid while JUDDD Magic takes hold (garlic fries would do it for me). You are not alone. Many of us go through this phase at first.

Today is a new day. Live it, enjoy it. JUDDD it.

Great job! You are down 5 lbs. and only dieting half the time In my JUDDD experience, the UDs are harder than the DDs. I struggle to not go over my UD calories. Sometimes it triggers a binge mentality that I need to learn how to handle on my own.

Thanks Gracie Im actually disappointed, I know 5lbs is good but I was lower a week ago. This weekend was bad sodium wise on my DD but on Mopthers Day UD I over did it I know. Im paying for it now. Hopefully Thursdays WI will get me back to my low.

Funny I have a harder time on DD. Not because Im hungry but once I do start to eat I dont want to stop, fasting that day may be the answer for me.

I think UD are usually easy because I am cooking for DH who is staying whole foods mostly veggies, so although I am eating a lot it is very low calorie food.

Well yesterday I don't know what got into me, I was on a DD and by noon I was starving. stuck at work the only food there were hot dogs. I ate two of them, and it was downhill from there, Sugar the rest of the night, and potatoes, nothing healthy, it was bad. So today I will treat as another DD and go back into rotation tomorrow. Today will be a fasting day.

That's happened to me before, try not to let it send you in a tailspin I think I do better when I don't try to fast for long periods. I try to get both lunch and dinner in. Even a nice huge garden salad with lots of veggies and lite dressing is pretty filling for like 100 or so calories. I think fasting sets off bingeing for me I'm still trying to figure it out too

Thanks Gracie. Usually I plan better than this. I had a 70 calorie veggie soup at work for me for lunch, but for whatever reason I was starving, and then once I ate the hotdogs I said F* it and went all out, horrible attitude I know, and then I felt guilt all night because I know today should have been my lowest number yet.

Sometimes I think we sabotage ourselves just knowing we will see a new number - weird how our minds work!!! DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. Make today a good DD and let the JUDDD magic work for you Heck, look at all you ate and hardly gained ONE POUND!!! Imagine back when doing low-carb, a night like that would've cost you 3-5 pounds EASY!!!

I am so tired and I want to eat. No energy at all. So far I have had half a turkey wrap 3 misa crackers with 1 lc cheese wedge and 100cal bag of popcorn. 300 cals so far, plus a cucumber.

Can you account for the scale creeping up? Do you use *** or one of the calorie counting sites? Are under extra stress of some kind?

What are your numbers? We will all pitch in with ideas if you'd like us to I am sure.
