Okay girls, this has to stop. Weight loss is SERIOUS business

Now I need to know what LAMO stands for. My acronym finder says: Learning About Myself and Others. Maybe I should get a new acronym finder.

I went to Rosemead High School. We often went to Huntington Beach to watch the cute surfer dudes from the pier. "Those were the days my friend, we thought would never end....." (feel a song comin' on.)

Did you say Genghis Kahn? Yummy - would be a great DD meal. Thanks a lot! I'm getting hungry now and I've eaten all my UD food.

Keep up the good work! We'll be on maintenance together some day. Yes we will!!!!! Isn't JUDDDin' a hoot??? It's sooooooo EASY!!! I it.

Amen and Amen to that.

I'm just so fanatically in love with JUDDD. I still feel like I'm dreaming to be eating so much food and losing. I made a list of things I've denied myself for decades and on each of my first UD's I went and had one - Pizza Hut; pancakes at IHOP; KFC "Original" chicken; hot fudge sundae; Chinese Orange chicken. I wake up and scream to DH - "It's an UP DAY - let's go out and eat!" So funny, huh? And now, I don't care to eat it again, really - once you're not denied something, it losses it's appeal. (Gotcha on that one? I'm going back!)

I usually crave big salads and eat very healthy out of years of it.

Best part too - each DD, I'm less hungry - must be 2 weeks into the SIRT1 buildup. Like today's a DD, and I feel like doing a water fast.

(I'm a big talker, huh? )

When I see heavy people in the stores, I want to run up and shake them and say, "You've got to do JUDDD!!! You'll LOVE it!!!) I just love, love, love people so much, I want to help them. When you've suffered through something you have so much empathy for others.

I get the biggest thrill seeing so many Newbies joining and the excitement they get when they have their first losses. You can tell from some of their posts - it's like something "clicks" and they know they can do this for life. It's not like every other diet that you're so tortured on, you're just ENDURING it.

Well - that was long! Anyways, I know that you and I are JUDDD for lifers now. Feels so good, huh? It's like a prayer come true.

Heather you are absoulutely right. I have a brother that is 400 lbs and he has been in the hospital twice with what he thought was a heart attack, he is only 38. Thankfully his heart seems okay but he did have A fib, where they had to shock him back into rythem, all due to his weight. He tried to lose on his own but hes a FF junkie, and his wifes no better. We are all going out to the lake tomorrow and hopefully I will get the chance to discuss Judddd with him. I did meet a lady on Fathers Day at aBBQ we went to that was very interested in Juddd, that was kinda cool to explain it to her, she was going to run home and research it on line.

I really hope your brother comes around to trying JUDDD. I'm sure your example will be the best testimony. Lots of people respond better to a good example rather than advice. I have a BIL who needs to lose over 200 I think - likes his beers and rich food. Said he doesn't want to try another diet - tried them all and failed. The only inroad will be my example and telling him he can have all the junk food and beer he wants on an UD - Hey, I just calculated it for him - his UD would be about 3,200 and DD 965 - Whoo-hoo! That might peak his interest huh? Calculate your brother's - would be pretty high I'd think. Anyways - have gobs of fun tomorrow and will look forward to hearing about your brother. I'll say a little for him.

Later BUDDD.

Thanks Heather, we shall see what comes of tomorrow. My brother is grilling some chicken and aspargus for us all for lunch, nice and healthy minus the BBQ sauce. I made a huge bowl of fruit, strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon and grapes. Also bought some cherries. My mom is bringing the unhealthy mac and potatoe salads. I also have a green greek salad for DH and I. We are set and Im glad he chose something healthier than hot dogs, or hamburgers.

Well I better get off to bed, I'm wiped out on these down days.

Good night Buddy

Looking for my friend...where are you Arlene?
I'm missing you!

I've just had a two not-so-great days. I had an UUAAD the other day during a graduation party we hosted, followed by a good DD. Still got on the scale to a one-pound gain. Not too worried about that. However my next up day and I am sad to say that I ate too much again Enough of that! Tomorrow I face the scale again, lord knows what it will say.

NoWeigh, I had an UUAD this week, during and after which I felt as hellish as I did in the old days. Today, at the end of my DD, I remember that I used to eat like that ALL THE TIME! And I felt awful almost every day.
So glad to be reminded of that!

Morning ladies, sorry I have been MIA. It all started last week at the lake, I did fairly well, but then on Sunday which should have been a DD I had a few cocktails, big mistake. By monday morning my weight was way up, alot due to the lovely sun burn I received on Saturday. I had a mental breakdown and lets just say only one sucessful DD this week. I just got tired of counting/weighing/not eating etc.... I know half the battle is in my brain. So today is Friday and we are off on a camping trip, I will try to keep things in control, but I am not up for rotation. First thing Monday morning I will re start with a DD. I hate to see where the scale will be especially with another weekend of sun. Shoot my fingers are still swollen a week later.

Anyhow i have not thrown in the towel, I am disappointed at the way I wrapped up June, but July promises to be a better month.

Connie and Kristen I feel your pain.

Thanks, but not so much lately.......

Okay ladies I have not been avoiding the board really, our router went out at home so I can only get on line at the office, and its Fiscal year ens so I am busy busy..... Anyhow I did have my DD on Monday and today will be a MD because tomorrow will also be a MD since its the 4th. I actually gained TEN lbs from the week off, all the sun etc. Good news is 5 are gone now after my DD So I am 5lbs above my low but will work my way back down.

Starting July it looks like

7/2 DD 278
7/3 MD 273 (better)

I will make July count, I really flubbed up June!

Arlene: Glad to see you back! Sorry you have router problems. I hate it when that happens.

Way to go on knocking off 5 of those pounds so quickly! The water weight comes on fast, fast, fast sometimes but several DD rotations get you going in the right direction.

I know when I went to Florida in January for a week at Disney World I gained 8 pounds and was tempted to freak out. But, the sirtuin enzymes were still active in me and by the end of the next week it was all gone except for 1 pound. Amazing, ain't it? And not only that but it's easier to get back into the UD/DD routine than to try to get back on WW or LC or any "full time" low calorie diet.

KUTGW! Hope you can get the router problem worked out soon. We miss you!
