Mammograms are not bad, and are so important; what a wonderful anniversary present to give to yourself - I have had many, and for me now, it is second nature to get my routine screenings done, and after several of them, you'll feel the same!
Thank you for the Anniversary wishes everyone, I bought myself some chocolate to cheer me up . We are taking off together next weekend, we got grandma to volunteer to sit on the kids for us, so we have 2 days kids free!

Mammogram went well, not as bad as I thought at all. Now I just have to hope the results are all clear.

That gets me about 422. I can have 800 in maint. So I'll probably add a baked potato and/or a grain free muffin with supper.
Walked 2 miles this morning and was hungry when I got done, so I had half an Udi's plain bagel, with 1 tbsp natural pb and 1 tsp polaner all fruit strawberry. (251 cal).

So I'll have the muffin or 1/2 potato with supper, but not both.

Happy Anniversary. You will have a nice time when DH gets back. Sending good thoughts for your mammo, and for no worries.

UD here and I don't know what to eat! Went through the entire grocery store going, nah, nah, nah, I even looked at cookies and candy! Wound up buying a Lean Cuisine pizza for 350 calories.

B: bagel and light cream cheese
L: aforementioned pizza, frozen custard left over from last UD
D: I have no bloomin' idea. Hope DH can come up with a good suggestion.

Can you post your recipe? I love ratatouille but the only recipe I have is Julia Child's...and while it's fabulous, it's too full of olive oil for a down day.

weirdly easy DD... I feel the hunger, but it's not driving me to do anything. Like I'm not connected to it; it's like if your ankle hurt, you wouldn't eat (necessarily ) -- so my stomach is growling and whatever-- but I don't associate that with eating.
Is that weird?

HI everyone.

Not doing very good with posting. I type stuff and apparently must preview it and then not post it. Sigh.

Yesterday was my first true DD and I went 30 calories over. I was hungry and I did get a headache. Ah well...this too shall pass.

Today was an up day and of course my plan got thrown but I'm hoping I did alright. I had breakfast, turned into a crazy day and had 1700 calories left when hubby suggested going to a buffet. Oh boy.

BUT, I still used my brain. I didn't leave unsatisfied and I didn't leave stuffed. I had broiled fish, spinach, broccoli with some (very much lighter than I normally would have) cheese sauce..a few cooked shrimp. A 1/2 piece of small steak and 4 mushrooms and a bit of grilled onions. (best guess about 1/4 cup). I did have one piece of banana cake (1/16 of a whole two tiered cake).

I don't begin to know where to start to calculate that all, but I did make MUCH smarter decisions than I would have in the past. I would have at least eaten double of all of those things (if not more)...a few soft rolls with a bunch of butter, and left feeling sick.

I was happy to have a yummy piece of cake. I was fine without bread and butter and potatoes etc. Hubby kept saying, "Don't you want more?" Well, yes, part of me wants more...but part of me knows it isn't going to make me happy in a week from now. It's been a long time since I've been below 250 pounds and I weighed myself this morning and was 249.2...I realize that I might not stay there by next Monday when I will do weekly weigh in's..but it was encouraging. I had hubby promise me that when I'm break 200 (which I haven't done since my teens - like 13)...we have to have a party! LOL.

Thanks for listening. Hubby gets pretty bored listening to me figure this all out.

Hugs,
Nancy

Hi Nancy! I think more experienced folks will weigh in here (no pun intended), but what I like best about JUDDD is that there is always the next day to "recover" and work the plan.

***********

I came back to say that I didn't have my 2nd OMM and PB, so here's my final DD numbers:

367 cal
6.5g net.

I can't even imagine what I'm going to eat tomorrow! Maybe I'll weigh, just to see
