I haven't a clue what to eat today I've got TOM and cramps and I'm cranky and blah <pout> B: green tea L: ugh D: pork or chicken, salad or boiled radishes. HI everyone.
Not doing very good with posting. I type stuff and apparently must preview it and then not post it. Sigh. ![]() Yesterday was my first true DD and I went 30 calories over. I was hungry and I did get a headache. Ah well...this too shall pass. Today was an up day and of course my plan got thrown but I'm hoping I did alright. I had breakfast, turned into a crazy day and had 1700 calories left when hubby suggested going to a buffet. Oh boy. BUT, I still used my brain. I didn't leave unsatisfied and I didn't leave stuffed. I had broiled fish, spinach, broccoli with some (very much lighter than I normally would have) cheese sauce..a few cooked shrimp. A 1/2 piece of small steak and 4 mushrooms and a bit of grilled onions. (best guess about 1/4 cup). I did have one piece of banana cake (1/16 of a whole two tiered cake). I don't begin to know where to start to calculate that all, but I did make MUCH smarter decisions than I would have in the past. I would have at least eaten double of all of those things (if not more)...a few soft rolls with a bunch of butter, and left feeling sick. I was happy to have a yummy piece of cake. I was fine without bread and butter and potatoes etc. Hubby kept saying, "Don't you want more?" Well, yes, part of me wants more...but part of me knows it isn't going to make me happy in a week from now. It's been a long time since I've been below 250 pounds and I weighed myself this morning and was 249.2...I realize that I might not stay there by next Monday when I will do weekly weigh in's..but it was encouraging. I had hubby promise me that when I'm break 200 (which I haven't done since my teens - like 13)...we have to have a party! LOL. Thanks for listening. Hi Nancy! I think more experienced folks will weigh in here (no pun intended), but what I like best about JUDDD is that there is always the next day to "recover" and work the plan.
*********** I came back to say that I didn't have my 2nd OMM and PB, so here's my final DD numbers: 367 cal 6.5g net. I can't even imagine what I'm going to eat tomorrow! Maybe I'll weigh, just to see ![]() Soren |
