Thoughts on how to handle my next 2 days...

Tomorrow I have to have a colonoscopy (sorry if TMI). I've been on clear fluids all day, and tomorrow my procedure isnt until 1:20pm. I won't be leaving the center until about 4:30, and as I'm told, I can go back to normal food immediately following. My question is, how would you handle the rotation? Make tomorrow another DD? Eat a meal of my choice for dinner and make it a MD? Then make Thursday a DD or an UD? I know I'm probably over complicating this but I really don't know what I should do... Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance everyone!!!!

I would just eat whatever you feel like, in whatever quantity you feel like, and don't label it. Then have a good UD the following day and proceed with your rotations. Your body's been under enough stress the last couple of days.

I was sort of leaning toward that route. I'm worried enough as it is, and I'm about to drive myself batty. However, JUDDD DD's have really helped me with this process. I am not in "hunger panic" at all. I think pre-JUDDD I would have been beside myself with hunger today!!

I agree with KM.
Be kind to yourself and eat what 'feels right'.
Then a regular UD.
I will be thinking about your tomorrow.
I do NOT care for that procedure.

I agree with the others. Just eat what you feel like tomorrow afternoon and don't worry the rotation.

You'll want to have a good UD to re-fuel for your next DD because you've been fasting prior to the procedure.

I don't know if you have had one before, but it isn't as bad as you might be thinking. I was SO scared of my first one that I was obsessing and making myself sick over it. Now I have had quite a few. The prep is really the worst part. The procedure itself was not so bad particularly because I was given something to not remember it!!

I am thinking like Dawn. Don't even label the day. Just do a nice UD the next day. Maybe have something yummy to reward yourself.

Best wishes for a good outcome with the procedure.
