Seriously, Pat wrote an excellent explanation of what happened biologically (see the thread "Bounce? Sky Dive!!!" and read what she said.) My body was probably getting ready to drop a couple of pounds anyway, then I had the awful weekend and 2 UUADs. Thus the water retention yesterday. I drank tons of ice water with fresh lemon squeezed in all day yesterday. Also drank half and half in my coffee and had about 4 cups of coffee throughout the morning. Whoosh!!!

The explanation sounds spot on. I have a whole bag of lemons in my fridge - going to give it a try today What can it hurt right? I think the biggest loss I've seen was close to 5 lbs. after a weekend splurge and then a steak day. You are almost to a new decade now

Most likely, yes. Although many do see the bounces getting smaller the longer they JUDDD. But then there are some spectacular ones like Yam-Yam's this week.

WOW Yam Yam that is really amazing and Dawn I am guessing that you just needed to say you were going into maintenance to drop into that weight decade-FABULOUS job~~~~Congrats to you both and to all the other losers here!!!! My scale was finally down a bit so perhaps this is the month that I will actually see those 160's I had hoped for it last month but as long as I get there and eat like this I will be patient LOL!!!

Decided to try and weigh EVERY day now, instead of only after a DD. Let's see what happens...
Also, been dealing with a bad cough/cold/allergies? for 2 weeks now. Hoping it ends soon or else I'll be making a trip to the drs for some medicine

5/6 UD 219.4 Ugh. Haven't been counting calories at all. I have been staying low-carb.
5/8 UD 219 Had a perfect DD yesterday, but didn't lose. Weighed the same yesterday morning too.

I get all fluttery thinking that I might hit the "teens" before the end of May.

Pleased with the alternate day weigh in...I don't think I will react positively to the bounce yet. Love the weight loss, love the feeling of success! I am 1/2 way to my first 10% BW loss which is just awesome...I expect by then it will be noticeable and some of those summer clothes from last year *might* fit.

Feel slightly guilty as I am aware that not everyone is having an easy time of it. I am following those threads as well, and cheering you all on!

Changed my mind about hiding the scale. Just can't do it! Off to the gym now. Glad I didn't miss seeing that sky dive on the scale.
