Having a bout of insomnia. I've been up since 1:30 a.m. and have blood work scheduled for 8:00 a.m., so I'm having water until after that.

The rest of the day is not yet planned.

Supposed to be an UD but I've been having some MD's instead of dd's
So no plan for today.
I may just eat when I want and not even worry about it, then have a really well planned DD tomorrow and get back on track.

Glad you'll be seeing your doc about this soon, Pixie. When I started having what I believed to be gallbladder troubles (I have more testing before the doc knows what I have), I tried home remedies, one of which involved drinking evoo and lemon juice.... Ugh, I drank 12 oz. of evoo over the course of a few hours! And I like evoo, but just downing it like that on a schedule.... Anyway, it didn't help anything, just made me feel very sick, lol. (thankfully it didn't make me gain weight, lol) Arrgh, the things we do when we are sick and desparate. So sorry you're hurting, and hoping you get this fixed up asap!

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

2 whole eggs + 3 egg yolks topped with 2T lite sour cream & 2 queso fresco LC wdges
vanilla pudding (1/2 c coconut milk, 1oz cream cheese, vanilla, ezsweets, gluc powder, a little water)
lots of water

total cals: 652
fat: 53g
protein: 30g

DD cal goal: 650

I've done 3 DD so far. The last 2 I was fine but finding towards end of the day I'm getting a headache. Last night I couldn't get to sleep! I'm sure it will get easier!

UD today!

B - 2 scrambled eggs, 1 sausage patty & gravy
L - jersey mikes turkey sub on ww w/ sunchips & light lemonade
D - flatout pizza w/ ground beef, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, side salad w/ lite caesar
S - salt & vinegar almonds, couple of trefoils w/ skim milk if enough cals

Bailey - I found that was a major issue for me. I originally approached my DD's as fasting as long as I physically could. That does not and probably will not ever work for me. I now try to space out my eating throughout the day. Yesterday was very managable. I drank my protein shake at 7:30 a.m., ate deli ham and string cheese at 11:00 a.m. and at 1:45 p.m. I had a can of tuna with laughing cow cheese. At 5:00 I snacked on some protein and felt great. For me, with my hypoglycemia, there is no way I could truly FAST all day. I would feel like crap and all around me would suffer.

That's just what works for me. I know many here fast almost their entire DD, I am just stating, that is not an option for me.

Had semi DD yesterday after a weekend of a MDs (groan-too much going on) so hope to get back in gear. Entering fourth week and notice a difference *still no battery in scale* with clothes fitting better, but trying to plan has been awful, especially weekends. Next week I'll be on the road and then at Disney World for a few days but will manage...hard to eat in moving car devoid of food

B-special breakfast mix-muesli, oat bran, chia seeds, blueberries with almond milk and vanilla
L-hominy casserole (leftover from weekend)
D-pork chops with mushrooms and wine, quinoa/tomato/avocado salad
S-HB eggs or low sodium deli turkey, 'tini

Just plugged in numbers (had to do some guessing)....but looks less than 70 <net>carbs and at 1875 calories which gives wiggle room. My calories can be upward 2100. Plan on doing a really DD tomorrow. Less than 500. Hopefully keeping that up through the week.

(hubby loves it when it is an UD because I cook, he is on his own for my
DD)

L- ground beef patty with guacamole, greek yogurt, coke zero

S- oopsie bread with cinnamon butter

D-Egg roll (or 2) dipped in honey

S- Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich and coffee

Yummy! Now this is my kind of diet! Right at 1750 try to stay below 1800.

I WILL make this a good DD. 169.3 this morning.

B/L: Smoothie ~350 cals
S/D: Spinach salad w/ seeds and nuts, goat cheese, and heirloom tomatoes. No dressing. ~150 cals

Leaves 120 for possible snack, but I'm hoping to keep it to the 500.

Ballet tonight...90 mins. I really want to turn this around guys.

I have a tendency to screw the pooch on UDs, and not sure why, except when wine is involved. Note to self: NO WINE TODAY!!! I lost net .2 last month because of about 3 HIGH UDs, even though my DDs are perfect.

b-HB egg,lite toast, cream cheese, slice bacon, coffe w/ffhnh and Splenda
l-thin sliced deli ham on WW rye with lite mayo/dijonnaise and cukes
s-coffee w/ffhnh and Splenda and toast w/ cream cheese
V-8 maybe
d-not sure yet, and that's when I screw the pooch. Possible burger on lite bun w/mayo and tomatoes, with some nice veggie. Anyway, that's my plan, but who knows what will happen.

Maybe DH will get us takeout from the new Puerto Rican restaurant in the neighborhood. Can you say mofongo? How do you count that??

Good morning!! My DD didn't materialize like it should have yesterday - so glad that JUDDD is so forgiving!! My DD for today:

B: Dannon Light & Fit diabetic friendly yogurt, 100-calorie popcorn (145)
L: Eating Right black bean soup (mix with hot water) (180)
D: Cream of Wheat instant (100)
S: (bedtime) SF Dole pineapple chunks, 1/2 cup (70)

Total: 495 calories - lots of water today too!
