I Love You JUDDD and Update
I posted this thread Maintanance Numbers Question a while back but it's so long I'm going to just do an update here.
Cliff note version: I've been at goal for over 2 years. Started JUDDD in January for the health benefits. Lost weight without trying. Meds got messed up. Still trying to gain the additional weight back but the med situation is a little bit better. What I really wanted to share is this: I started JUDDD for the health benefits - help with breathing issues and inflammation. Normally I go through about 2 inhalers a month. I live in a little bitty town with an old school pharmacy. Pharmacist knows everybody personally - has known me since I was born. I went to pick up my meds today and his wife (who runs the store) said he told her to ask me if I was getting my inhalers filled somewhere else because I hadn't filled them in TWO months. I've been using the same inhaler since late Feb. Sophie, I also wanted to say thank you again for suggesting I swap out some of the high fat stuff I was eating (in order to be able to eat more/get my UD calories up). That's really worked well. I'm still eating plenty of fat (I would happily gain 10 pounds if I had to in order to keep eating all the butter/cheese I eat - never giving that up) but what I've done is moved the higher fat stuff to later in the day so I can get more calories in earlier. It's worked great. Thanks again.

That's super-terrific news! Thanks for coming back and sharing that with us. You're doing a wonderful job, not only taking care of your health, but keeping that lost weight OFF.
My older brother is a severe asthmatic who is happy to be using Singulair. It's really improved his breathing, but I worry about the side effects. I told him about JUDDD, even gave him my book, but he'd rather use his meds. I sure wish he'd give it a try. |

Mint - I love reading both yours and your Mom's posts. I love all things UK. Quote:
Thanks again, y'all. It continues to amaze me how easy JUDDD is. I wish I'd known about it when I was losing. Those of you in losing mode - it must be so nice to be able to eat 'normal' foods and not have to listen to constant "All that meat/fat is going to kill you" lectures. ('normal' as defined by those who love to stick their noses into our business as we're losing weight). |

This is such a great result, and just what I love to read on here.
While JUDDD is an incredible weight loss tool it is also wonderful to see these health benefits that so many are enjoying. Glad you enjoy the odd glimpse of the UK through our posts Jennifer. |

I loved reading your report! You're healing your body! That is sooo encouraging, and I agree that it wasn't just the losing weight that helped you, but the inflammation-fighting power of this woe. So happy for your success so far and hope things continue to go great for you. Look forward to more posts from you, my JUDDD bud. ![]() |
