Question about recalculating calories as you lose

Do most of you recalculate your numbers, especially the UD numbers, every time you weigh or do you keep it a steady number until your loss slow then recalculate?

Most wait until they slow or stall before recalculating.

I slowed a little and reduced twice, then had to actually increase the next time I slowed down because I wasn't eating ENOUGH. The theory is that we want to keep the metabolism burning as hot as possible, so we wait as long as we can to lower those calorie numbers. Some never even have to lower them.

I'm not planning to - until I have to.

I have dropped once - but am happy with the way things are at the moment!!

Thanks so much! So far so good. I have lost 8 pounds since I started last Monday and just wanted to see if I should be making adjustments. I'll just stay put until I have to move down.

I'll recalculate later, when my loss slows.

I tried doing it as I go, but figured it was pointless as my calories only went down by a little bit each time, and at best, what I calculate day to day as eaten is still just an estimate.

Kissa -we used to raise ragdolls that is one of our babies from a few years ago. He was my favorite from that litter - such a character - always made me smile.

SO sweet. I bred two litters from my Kissa Cottontail (avatar). It is tough letting them go sometimes, isn't it? I did keep one of the first litter. Will put her photo up soon.
