Wow! Bam! I really felt it!

I have been reading for weeks now about Juddd magic and I have experienced some of it. But the one that I really really have been waiting for thus far has eluded me. It seems to hit most of you on DD's but it caught me today on an UP day. ENERGY! I get up early on weekdays to make lunch and a latte for my DH then go back to sleep. I had a really hard time getting back to sleep and staying asleep when I finally did. I couldn't stop thinking about the things I wanted to accomplish today. When I got up I picked my target room, today it was our bedroom, and cleaned it like it was about to be used for surgery. . Nothing escaped me, not even the tops of the doors or the blades of the ceiling fan. Every teddy bear(I collect them) got a through dust beating. Usually when I get to the point where it's the halfway point and I want to just not be doing this anymore, I felt just as energetic as when I began. I was shocked, still am quite frankly!. Our bedroom looks beautiful and I'm already thinking about which room to tackle tomorrow. On top of that today was first day of TOM, I'm usually really tired these few days. I haven't felt this good in, well I don't remember. But I know I was younger. This is every bit as great as my body getting smaller. There's less of me to do more stuff, yay. I can't wait to see what else Juddd has in store for me. Please everyone share you're magic Juddd moments other than weight loss. Again I you all.
Vanessa

OMG, that's inspiring! I'm looking forward to that, and to a wee bit of appetite suppression. I'm only 8 days in, though, and willing to be patient. Thanks for the preview.

WTG! It comes and goes for me, but I'm still in the process of healing from extreme adrenal exhaustion too. But when it hits, I love it!

Nancy what is the NSV thread? The energy hit for me in week five and if it comes and goes for awhile that's ok. If I cleaned like that everyday I'd die of exhaustion eventually. All good things in moderation. I too never thought it would happen for me, but be prepared for a big surprise.

Vanessa, I think the NSV is non-scale victories. It shows up on page 2 of threads for me. I could read that entire thread every day.

Yay for JUDD magic!! Go YOU!!!

I've noticed so many changes along the way. I think the first was just that peaceful, happy, all-is-well with the world feeling on DDs. Yesterday was a DD and I love how I feel when I wake up the next morning. My tummy feels flat. I feel light on my feet.

Fat burning and inches lost is a huge part of the magic for me. The scale numbers have not been dropping fast lately, but I measured just my waist yesterday and I've lost another inch there!! Yay!

My cravings, even on UDs, are for healthy food. I could have junk, but I don't want it! That must be the appetite control part.

The other thing is muscle maintenance which equals lots of energy. After taking about 6 weeks off from going to the gym, I got back to it starting a couple of weeks ago. Usually if I'm lazy for that long I find that getting through the first session is torture followed by lots of soreness.

Not so! I picked up right where I left off and could feel my muscles. It's incredible.

So many benefits.

That is great Vanessa! I get the energy boost on DD almost all the time now and it is great to get so much done!
I also agree with Yam-Yam that there is something about this way of eating that keeps your muscle strength better even when not exercising for a while. I wasn't running much for a few weeks and started again and hadn't lost any of my endurance. JUDDD!

I'm okay energy wise, although not bursting at the seams with it. I think the exercising I do actually helps me sleep better most nights.

It's the being cold that other's mentioned I've not experienced!

My sister who is also doing JUDDD has not felt the cold either.. and she is still losing.. it may be an individual symptom I have always been colder than most folks.. but those DD freezer days are almost as unbarable as a hot flash would be ( i imagine.. never had a hot flash )

Well that's good to know because I was wondering about the cold. I figured maybe because I'm post-menopausal, that was it.

Never had a hot flash, huh? Just wait .. you'll love them. Not!!

I have always been cold natured and I have experienced the DD freezes. I am way past menopause and I didn't even have hot flashes then. I was so looking forward to being warm once in my life.

Thanks Kristen I'll have to do some reading over there. I was thinking how lucky I was not to have chilly DD but now that I think of it, I live in the forest on the Oregon Coast. I'm always cold in Winter. I think because I come from sunny California. Oh and yes the hot flashes are a joy, not!

Today is a DD and I'm still feeling pretty energized. You would be proud of me Nickicaps, I tackled the kitchen today, including the parts you don't see. The inside of the microwave for instance and all those dusty trinkets in the greenhouse window. I still have to excercise today, not really looking forward to that today. I'm praying this benefit remains pretty constant, even if I had to do zero calories on DD it would be worth it. With four cats, three dogs and a couple of goats outside on five acres it's not easy to keep up with this house. I need this energy!
