Not doing too well

Hello my lovely JUDDD BUDDDs, old and new.

I am only in and out quickly at present as we are dealing with my dear FIL who is hospitalised.

As a result of his situation we have had many house guests and it has been increasingly difficult for me to eat as well as I would like. I am trying not to use this as an excuse but I am afraid that, in part, it is.

I weighed in today at 126, after a rather poor DD yesterday and today's UD has been another Up Up and Away day.

Now, 126 is my goal weight so that is fine, except that I am used to seeing 123/4/5. So it doesn't thrill me to see goal.

It is no fun writing this but I wanted to share with everyone that, as dearest Beeb says, Life Happens.

I am taking a long view on this. I will be back at my comfortable weight when I am back to my comfortable weight, whenever that may be.

In the meantime I intend to do my best, and when my best isn't good enough, I will be kind to myself.

I love coming here and reading everyone's updates. My apologies if I am not as supportive as I like to be.

Hang in there - what you are dealing with right now is very stressful, and sometimes you can only do the best you can do. I'm proud of you for doing as well as you are! I am sure I would have blown right past goal at this point if I were in your shoes!

Sweet Cindy,

Please, not to worry about posting as you normally do. We all have those times when we must pay attention to priorities, and we both agree that family is definitely a priority.

I have other things going on right now, although not serious as your situation is, and I'm not able to post as much either.

Take your time, do what is needed and we will all be here when everything settles down.

Kissa, you lovely woman...

Thanks for sharing what's going on with you. It is stressful having someone you love be ill, especially when they are older and frail and in the hospital. And you are dealing with houseguests, and meals, and the list goes on.

It's natural that your good healthy eating and exercise habits would falter a bit during this time, and although it's discouraging to see a higher number, we all know that with a couple of good down days you'll be right back in trim form again. JUDDD, and we, will be waiting when things settle down and you can get back to it.

Dear, Dear Cindy: We you so much. So sorry to hear about your DFIL being in poor health. We will be thinking of you. Don't add to your stress right now by worrying about rotations. The JUDD magic will take care of everything as I'm sure you have a build up of SIRT1 ready to burn off fat. When you are in a better frame of mind, you will just dive back in. 126 is fabulous. Don't even entertain the thought that it isn't!!

Cindy, you are among the most supportive women I have ever had the fortune to get to "know." You always have a kind word and wonderful advice for anyone who needs it.

I don't pray, but am sending you all my good thoughts and energy to help you through this, and to help your FIL have a speedy recovery, if that's in the cards. If it's not, I know you will handle this situation with dignity and aplomb. You know how to handle your eating, and you also know that if you need to take a break, JUDDD is forgiving. Being kind to yourself is the best thing you can do right now.

Awwww (((((Kissa)))))

Please be gentle with yourself. Beeb is right, life happens! Perhaps it would be easier to take a JUDDD break and just try to eat sensibly for the time being? That is, not worry so much about the up/down rotations. That way you can focus on what's important right now (not that your weight/health aren't important, but I think you know what I mean.) And, I know it's hard to not worry about your weight, but you can always jump back in at any time, as you know this woe is very forgiving. I wish you the best...

Now your one of the ones who kept saying to me when I was so worried over the wedding and eating. You said JUDDD is a lifestyle, and its also forgiving when things happen! Well this is a things happens moment. I understand you are used to seeing certain numbers and now your not seeing them at the moment. But what is more important, that scale or knowing your with your family and FIL when your needed most?

Sometimes we have to put others before ourselves. And this is a time! When the situation changes, JUDDD is there for you!

For now and to you and your family!! We will be here when you can make it back to us!!!

Sometimes you are able to give support and encouragement, and sometimes you need to receive support and encouragement. That's called friendship. And we are you friends. We're here for you, holding you up through a difficult time.

Sending my prayers your way for peace and strength through this tough time.

And as you've told many, JUDDD is forgiving. Any bounce you see now will be taken care of quickly when you are able to settle into the rotation again. You don't need to add to your stress by piling on worries about food. Just eat as sensibly as you can, and take care of the damage later.
