Yesterday first ud
Crazy- I ate exactly what I wanted! I went out for lunch, and had (2) skinny Carmel macchiatos! Yes 2! My calories came in at 1905, my goal is 2125. Are you guys sure this works? Do I need to get those extra calories in, or is that close enough?
Today being my second dd I've decided to drink my coffee black. Not bad! Those calories are to important to squander! Is that a word? I may have made that up? Lol |

Isn't it great???????? I love not having to worry about everything on an UD, even though I have to track my calories, I can enjoy these days!
I try and be within 150 cals (over or under) max of my UD calories. For DD, it's free as long as I don't go over 500... Yes, calories are too important to squander, very good saying, I may use that one in the future! xxx |

Now some may say you were "close enough" but Beeb thinks YOU GOTTA EAT!! and that it's VERY important, especially in the beginning to get as close to that UD calorie ceiling as possible.
It's really what helps to make the "magic" work and gets your body prepared for the DD calorie deficient! |

Great question! I was over on *********** and the lady on the juddd board over there said that the # the calculator gives you is not the # you want to eat up to! I was like, well that's not what I read on LCF! I've been eating up to my number it gave me on the site! Hope it works!

I'm a member of that group on *********** too, and honestly, the people are nowhere near as friendly or knowledgeable as they are here. I don't even check in there anymore.

The calories calculated on Dr J's website seem to work very well for most of us. A few people have metabolic or hormonal issues and have to carefully test both up and down to find their correct numbers. For now, assume the calculated cals are what you need. And, oh golly! I enjoy this forum so much I went looking for others. I found a group who were testing three DDs in a row, and complaining about how they felt; and a group who were eating 2x - 3x their UD cals and complaining the WOE does not work. I wanted to scream, does anyone here actually follow the rules?!?! I came back to LCF instead.AND, I LOVE Caramel/coffee anything!!!!
