DD

Breakfast: Coffee with teaspoon cream and coconut oil

Doing two DD in a row. Will have major UD tomorrow-2 functions featuring food. Hope I don't get another tummy ache like last weekend. Today is super busy so I won't have time to be hungry or even THINK about being hungry.

B-Chia/oatmeal/peach overnight pudding, single coffee with coconut milk
L-If I have time...protein smoothie or turkey lettuce wraps
D- vegetable soup or Lean Cuisine
S- none (no time)

Less than 40 carbs and about 500 calories

Could you make today a MD so you can avoid going into starvation mode? Not to say that you WILL go into starvation mode, but for some people it starts as early as 40 hours from your last meal on UD.

DD

Well, since reading on another thread that the Dr.'s original concept for DD was to fast, I'm going to try to begin reducing the calories. I never knew that, even when I did JUDDD when it first came out (before the book ever did).

I usually have 2 OMM's on a DD, so I'll eliminate one of them.

*Coffee w/cream
*YoCheese Pudding
*OMM

Maybe some broth with a little cream if I feel the need.

It's shaping up to be another DD because I have been ill and on the couch (the usual GI/sicky stuff).

7:30 a.m.
-Pepto Bismol
-Saltine crackers

3 p.m.
-about 10 oz. "fresh" veg/fruit juice leftover from yesterday

Tonight I'm making taco salad for everyone but I don't know how that will go on my belly. So I may just have something light. Or who knows, maybe my appetite will kick back into gear by tonight.

Sophiethecat, now I'm having issues ... Went to the doctor and am waiting for blood test results; she's thinking my hiatal hernia, gall bladder or ulcer ...

Not much of an appetite, eating when hungry, so I've been doing MD/DDs over last weekend and last several days ... My menu so far today:

B: 2 pretzels, water
L: Only about 3-4 forkfuls of shrimp over pasta w/brocolli in cream sauce
D: A couple more forkfuls, stomach feels sour and have no appetite

For some reason I'm in the mood for eggs today, so I'll try something new tonight and have 4 soft-boiled eggs with the italian herb chicken and nix everything else. Not much of a change at 430 calories total.

instead of my strawberry smoothie, i made gluc pudding with the coconut milk instead. i used some vanilla paste and sweetener. very yummy! even if the gluc did clump up inspite of using a blender.... will use less water tho next time and try chocolate next time.

so my cals for the day are 489 instead of 520.
