UD's

Hi everyone! I am about a month into this WOE and I love it!!

On my last two up days I have been having some trouble getting the calories in! My numbers are 1956/390.

Is it normal to almost be stuffing myself some days to get to the 1956? Does this mean the JUDDD magic is working?

I think so!!! Congratulations! I noticed that about 3 weeks in. On UDs I would have a regular sized meal, feel absolutely stuffed and realized I still had more calories left. it's magic!

Yep, totally normal. You want to find calorie dense options that aren't as filling.

Fats usually work pretty good for this. Add extra butter to your toast/veggies/omelet. Put coconut oil in a smoothie. An extra tbsp or 2 of salad dressing. Coconut oil bark is yummy. A handful of nuts (put it on your salad). Add avocado to a sandwich or salad. Nut butter right off the spoon.

It's just as important to plan those UD's, especially when you start getting the appetite suppression, as it is to plan DD's, so you don't undereat.

Some of us have no problem eating to UD calories. Me, I'm convinced I stalled my weight loss by not noticing I had dropped UD calories waaay low. As Tina says, it is very important to monitor and count what you eat every day.

I had this problem at first, but today I had no trouble at all getting all my calories in - and actually, I was unbearably hungry until I ate around 100 calories over.

Just one of those days, I suppose.

I did think that I had a completely unrealistic number of UD calories at first and that I'd never eat them, but I've gotten used to it to a certain extent - I'm adding around 500 calories in fruit and veg every up day, and I think my body's thanking me for it as well.

one word......AVOCADOS. They're calorie dense for such a small package. And GOOD, too. I just posted a new recipe tonight called MAYONADO and it's great spooned on lots of things!

I have a really hard time getting my UD calories. I'm low-carb and you think it would be easy with all the fat, but I still struggle. I'm just not hungry. I still have 500 calories to eat tonight. Ugh.

JUDDD is awesome! And yes, sometimes it's hard to get all your calories, but mostly it's just darned enjoyable!

If it wasn't for beer, I wouldn't be able to get all my cals in on UDs!

Upping fats was mentioned, and ITA with avocados!!!! They rock and not only add cals but are so good for you!

I've always loved mixing avocado w/mayo! Such an excellent way of upping those cals!

My UDs are only 1700 and I had trouble getting that in yesterday. I was full after about 1400.
