Hang in there, it gets easier.
I just ate my 248th calorie for the day and I am feeling full. It is crazy... I never would have thought I could do with so little!

You can have a big 3-cup skillet of stir-fried shredded cabbage for around 52 calories, provided you use a few spritz of butter spray and low heat to wilt it down and not a lot of grease. One thin slice bacon in lieu of the buttter spray is only about 39 calories. Those meatless cabbage and zucchini "noodle" stir fries literally got me through my first month.

You are doing great!! If you are just starving, allow yourself a few more calories to make it through. I find if I'm starving at night, I cannot fall asleep. I always keep fat free, plain Greek yogurt on hand. Then I can have half a cup or a cup right before bed if I need it.

It's all a learning process! There are many great DD recipes on our DD recipe thread here and I find lots of veggies, for little calories, goes a long, long way to keeping me full on DDs. OH, and oatmeal with PB2 powder in it! The BEST to keeping me full from mid morning until dinner!!

Yes, it will get better and you will learn what works best to keep you full. Lean protein is very filling to me and I'll have shrimp, chicken, or lean ham almost every down day. Give yourself permission to go over just a bit if you need it.

Two packets of oatmeal with half a banana made with water. On the box they say it's 100 cal per pack but that's only if you use milk. It's about 28 per pack made with water. You get a big bowl. I add vanilla extract and Splenda. It's about 108 calories, perfect!
