Sounds good, buttoni!
I'm usually not big into the sweets except certain times of the month. When my Mom was doing JUDDD (I haven't talked to her about it in a while to see if she still is), she also noticed that within a matter of time she was no longer craving sweets. And she had them sitting around in plain sight all the time, but just had no desire for them. |

With me, I think I WANT something sweet, but than when I eat it, it just tastes awful to me. And THAT is definitely a GOOD thing, Cindy. Hope this trend continues.

I went sugar free several weeks before starting JUDDD, and it's really nice to not crave sweets all the time. I've eased up a bit now and eat something sugary on occasion, in moderation. I've found that a sweet treat doesn't trigger cravings if I eat it after a meal with protein & fat.

I know what you mean, since cutting my carbs back a few months ago, my palette has completely changed, and I am so much more sensitive to sweetness now!
I had some of my mums homemade fruit cake yesterday, and I had to cut off the marzipan and spread it with unsweetened PB instead, because I found it so sweet. And my favourite chocolate is now 90% cocoa, which most people find way too bitter.... I'm so glad that my tastebuds have adapted, as its better for my teeth as well as my belly! |

That happened to me when I cut out sugar last Aug. I can only handle a couple bites of most sweet things now. I've started baking with coconut sugar and stevia, and that is better. But I can still take it or leave it.

I've been low-carbing for 3 years now and this has JUST happened since starting JUDDD. Didn't happen low-carbing. I find it really odd it just now happened to me after 3 years of LC'ing. I KNOW the foods I'm finding so sweet now haven't changed; it's my taste that has abruptly changed on JUDDD.
