what's your "point A - point B" story?

Okay... so I am..well,rather, *was* very addicted to junk and acceptance of defeat pre-juddding. I'm so thankful that i not only found this site but also discovering you friends as well.

As a "hyster-sister", one who has had for lack of a better analogy, all of her female innards removed, my weight skyrocketed and nevercould balance back out. My thyroid is retarded and apparently doesn't care what i think about its' work ethic, and my metabolism poofed to the netherworld, leaving me fluffy and rather perturbed

DH decided to go lc style, and for him, it is simply wonderful. It did nothing for me but make me feel worse. Looking for recipes for him led me to this site, but the sheer numbers for juddd led me here. I started a week ago, at my still steadfast 147 where i had resigned myslf to for the last 4 years. Today i sit at a miraculous 141, and i am just shocked!!!

I have my nook tablet which i use every day to come here amongst you and learn, laugh, cry, and know i am one of many, and not " the only one". I use an app everyday right after my visits to log every tiny thing i ate and account for it. My first UD I ate whatever, didn't matter what it was, but after my first DD..
I didn't *want* all the bingy foods! I ate mindfully, even with such a free leash and high limit. Each day i notice subconcious choices that i made that were never the norm before.

It is no longer just a diet or WOE , it's a whole new lifestyle. I don't feel resigned to failure, or at loss for control over my ability to change that danged plateau that had become my destined future. I might not lose much or i might lose it all...but either way, *i* managed to break an almost 8 year cycle of depressing hell ,and that alone is enough for me !

The world needs more like you, and i am blessed to have found my new outlook on life...with new friends i adore and admire. awesome! it is amazing how juddd/IF make you feel free and that takes off the compulsion to eat poorly. when it isn't rebellion against something it loses all appeal.

I feel the very same way. It is truly a liberating way of life! I've said this several times, but my decision to try JUDDD is the best decision I've made for myself in a very long time!

and i loved to read your post.. what caught my eye was the "hyster-sister" part.. in Sept 2011 i had all removed excpt for my overies.. i just could not let them go.. i too know how its been a struggle for those sisters who have gained out of control because of it.. that was my fear as well and what got me on the right track to gain control in case i too would gain from lack of organs.. they told me i would not have that factor due to the girls i kept.. but i could not take that chance.. So welcome to a hyster-sister who has found sucess!

I'm a hyster-sister too! Had mine out almost three years ago but kept the ovaries. My mother was 60 when she went through menopause, so I figured I had quite a few years left of those protective hormones left, so the ovaries stayed (my doctor gave me the option to decide, because of my age).

What a wonderful post, LilliHop. Yes, JUDDD is such a great WOE--so good for our waistlines and our health and our skin and so many maladies like asthma, arthritis and diabetes!! And how lucky are we to have heard of it? I am also amazed that this is not a more popular WOE. I guess lots of people are frightened of that 500 calorie part. I know I was...but not anymore!

Its been 7 years for me, fully done....no inside lady parts I gained weight and its been so hard to lose it..... that is until I started JUDDD
I wish I found JUDDD several years ago.
