TOM and JUDDD start date

I was wondering... If I start JUDDD, is there a better time of the month to do it? Like is it best, before or after TOM?

Welcome!
Personally, I think any time is a good time. However, I do understand what you are getting at, I hope. I am absolutely ravenous a week before my period. For me that would probably have been a bad time to start a diet I just happened to begin JUDDD right after my cycle completed and it was a good time for me to not have to deal with bloating, mood swings and the cravings. I hope that helps you out and that is the answer you were looking for. If not, oops.
Good luck to you!
Tami

Tami, I have the same issues that you have with pre-TOM hunger and water weight gain and cravings...general PMS-type stuff that probably doesn't help with handling and adjusting to a new eating plan at all, for me anyway. If it were me I'd start right after TOM as well. But it does take a while for that JUDDD magic to get going for a lot of us, so maybe it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

Hi,

I would say there's no time like the present and advise you to get started whilst motivation is high!

I started my first DD the first day of TOM, and I survived. I guess it depends on how you are when you are on TOM.... I just pushed through, I do get cravings and such, but a DD is only one DD and then you have an UD again...
