I know I can't have this on a DD....I have to have butter and sugar or syrup in it....along with a dash of cream. sigh. This is why I'm fat in the first place!

But, isn't it great knowing you CAN have it on an UD? Just knowing what day I can eat what foods is so calming for me.

I am definitely going to try coconut water - that sounds good!

DH eats it most mornings. I just never focused on it for a DD foodie. I will use it on my next DD and thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, I have to say thank you for posting this thread! Today's a DD and I asked DH to pick me some cream of wheat up at the store on his way home (actually it's the generic so it's "creamy wheat" ).

So good and filled me right up. What a great idea. Thanks!!!!!!!

This is a DD and I am cooking Cream of Wheat for my brunch. Had coffee with FF cream, this for lunch, and Smart Ones turkey/mashed potatoes with a cup of lettuce, and a cup of cabbage for dinner.

Good thing Cream of Wheat!

I'll have to work Cream of Wheat into UD's (carbs) because I love it and oatmeal. Especially with sugar and doing the backstroke in butter. The butter won't be so bad, just have to mix up the sweeteners.

I had 1/2 Cream of Rice (butter, salt and pepper), 1/2 hot oat bran cereal (SF Brown Sugar & Cinnamon syrup) last night for dinner. It filled me up. The winner? The oat bran. I think I'll toss the Cream of Rice and try Cream of Wheat. I didn't like the flavor. I may get a box of grits instead, we'll see what the stats are. It's 8 years since I've had grits.
