UD here

B = 3 slice toast with yuzu-cha (korean lemon marmelade, super yummy) 350cal
L = organic fast food chain, i'll try to stay around 500cal
D = homemade veggie burger or vietnamese restaurant, don't know yet !

UD here, too.

B = muesli with milk, an apple, cereal bars (to make up the calories, to be honest. I had planned bananas, but when I got to the shop this morning they were too ripe for my personal taste).

L = egg and cress sandwich, an apple (I got a pack of them!!) and some mixed berries.

D = salad (not the diety kind) with loads of rice and quinoa and that kind of thing. Probably another couple of apples - no point in leaving them here over the weekend!!

It's a grand total of 1385 calories, which is a bit low but I'm going to stop eating at 4 today to prepare for a big dinner tomorrow. It's plenty to pack in!!

I'm off to the Cape today, so we'll probably have lunch on the way there. Saving most of my 1150 calories for dinner!

L: this awesome roasted mushroom salad with pesto at a restaurant near work-- 190 cal incl the low fat dressing
D: tuna, 1/2fat mayo, salad greens, cucumber
S: 1 cup of almond milk later on

L: eating a huge salad as I post. lettuce, spring onions red peppers, celery, and tomatoes with a little coriander and some thinned down Caesar salad dressing.
D: Steak and green beans. :)

D - deli ham, laughing cow cheese and some peanuts at the ball fields tonight

Have you done this before? In 2 weeks I need to switch a DD to an UD and I am freaking out on how I cnan do this!!!!!!

I have no idea - still having a hard time staying in the calorie range for both up and down day. I stay closer on a DD -

I have an orange and a dill pickle with me at work
Tonight will probably be a chicken breast and salad

You will do fine Monica. Do an MD after a DD, then get back on rotation, so it goes, DD, MD, UD, DD etc. Your MD is the average of you numbers added together. So, say 500 and 1600 = 2100. Your MD would be 1050.

No need to fret.

1 greek yogurt w/ half a tablespoon of ground flax (155 calories)
1 can of vegetarian refried beans with onion and hot sauce (190-200 calories)
1 very large and lightly sweetened iced tea (@90-100 calories)
lots of water

Total - @455 calories

It's Frrrrriiiiddddaaaayyyyy!! :jumpjoy: Need to eat mini meals from now on to help calm my hiatal hernia - My UD meals for today:

B: Poptarts, orange juice
S: Pringle chips
L: Leftover 1/2 tilapia fish, small serving of mashed potatoes, brocolli
S: small banana
D: peanut butter/peach preserves sandwich on wheat toast

Also, no food 2 hours before bedtime, and no coffee, bummer! :mad:

B: nada
late lunch: cottage cheese w pineapple (100 cals)
snack: apple (80 cals)
D: soup (80 cals)

not sure what else. a little lacking on protein. might be having dinner at a restaurant so will probably be a dry salad w a bit of protein.

starving all of a sudden - decided on a protein shake for breakfast. we'll see how far in the day that takes me.....

L- shake
D- chicken breast, salad
S- martini, low sodium (deli) turkey breast

Less than 1000 calories, less than 20 carbs
