2nd week in having hard time
I really think it's Tom visiting but my dd this week have been a disaster. Tuesday was suppose to be a down day and I blew it out with movie popcorn. So, I tried we'd for a down day, nope, went out to eat and ate way too much. So, today, tried dd. I'm good, I'm not eating anything more but I'm at 910. Suppose to be418. Ugh. I'm tring, but these cravings and hunger are killing me this week.

First, I LOVE YOUR CATS!! They look just like my Sparkle and that pic always makes me smile when I see it.
I always get off to a rough, shaky starts with new WOE, and JUDDD is particularly challenging at first bc it's such a drastic change for most of us. I know it is frustrating, but it will get easier. I would suggest making tomorrow an easy UD so that you can go into your next DD pretty satiated. Put it all behind you and start fresh, doing the best you can |

Normally for a DD I fast, or atleast go to the very latest I can make it before I eat. But with TOM I have found if I have a 200 calorie breakfast, 200 calorie lunch, 200 calorie supper, I can get by easier. I dont think its so much hunger as TOM brings cravings, and if you can spread food out that is low calorie it kinda satisfies the cravings a bit! I know with me its not so much the hunger as its one minute I want salty, next minute I want sweet, next minute..........you get the idea!
I have a little of everything for those moments! Like cottage cheese, if I want salty I add tomatoes to it with salt and pepper. If I want sweet, I add a little pumpkin pie spice. Maybe find something that will work with you for that wonderful week of the month!!

Don't try a MD because then you'll try a DD after and won't be fully fueled for it and end up going over again. Just consider it a reset. Full UD tomorrow, DD on Sat, and continue.
TOM is a game changer for most of us. You grit your teeth and get through it the best you can, and start over on the other side. It'll be fine. |

Keep on keeping on and you will find that they get easier. Remember this is all new to you and it is not a race.
You will be fine if you can relax and take some of the great advice you will get here. Are you using the 'Its ....day, what are you eating today thread'? You may find it helpful to see others DD menus. |

I think part of the problem is you've tried to have several DD in a row. You are now not fueled, not satisfied, not happy.
TOM visiting often makes me hungrier than normal on a DD - it happens. When things like this happen in the future, unless you have a full on UD - just keep your rotations going. And remember a MD every now and then isn't going to hurt you in the long term. Yes, this is only week 2 and it's better to not mess with the rotation - but sometimes - as I know all too well -life happens!

Thank You all. Thanks, Mint. I think you are right. I am doing a full UD today and hitting reset.
And, thank you all for being here and being a positive light. |
