New here...What is the deal about Laughing Cow Cheese?

I am seeing that a lot of people use it and I was wondering why. I like it and I got some. Feeling good trying out JUDDD after 3 days and 3 lbs lost. Coming from LC, but stopped and started a lot. I am surprised at how light my body feels today, I walk with such ease. Also I am in a great mood today after my 2nd DD. I'm usually quiet but I've been smiling and telling everyone I see Good Morning! This is how I feel and it's not just because I'm losing. Hmmm. I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts and seeing how it's going, ups and downs, for everyone.

and it sounds like the JUDDD "magic" is kicking in for you!! Laughing Cow cheese is just yummy, low in calories and can be used for so many applications where we want/need cheese but don't want/need the calories. Great for a DD, especially!

It is yummy! I will check out the recipes, thanks! I forgot to mention that my tummy is flat, too. I am surprised since I ate plenty of carbs on my UD! This does sound like magic!

Weight Watchers cheeses are 30 calories/pc and come in a few different flavors... I believe I have also seen crystal farms brand, and Happy farms (at Aldi's) some offer different flavors.

I know the WW Parm peppercorn offers a LOT of flavor for the little package it comes in! As well as the White Cheddar.

I do LOVE LC, but it's nice to know of other options!

Ohhhh, the reasons for an Aldi run keep on stacking up! Must go soon!!

I love cheese, but the calories can add up fast. Laughing cow is a better for you alternative when you can't afford the cals.

Sargetno's is coming out with 45 calorie sliced cheeses. I seen the commercial. A slice of that on light bread with a few squirts of pam cooking spray and you get a 115 calorie grilled cheese........yeah for DD, I could have 2 grilled cheese then!!!!

I havent found the cheese yet, its that new!!

Look in the deli section where they have the 'special' cheeses!

You sound a lot like me. I started juddd 2 weeks ago coming from LC too and yes we cheated once a week. Like you, I have felt so much happier with much more energy on juddd

I have been using laughing cow cheese forever and love it! I use the blue cheese and spread it on both of the in-sides of bread add turkey to make a grilled turkey sandwich, I always feel like I'm eating a gourmet grilled sandwich, its so yummy. You can use the swiss cheese version, mix some stevia in and spread it on a graham cracker and it taste like cheesecake. There is a great thread on cabbage and laughing cow cheese. For mine I usually just throw some pre-bagged/cut cabbage in a sauce pan, add diced chicken, laughing cow swiss cheese and heat it up till the cheese is melted mixing constantly. I throw some cholula on top. One of my favorites is Hungry Girl's Mac & Cheese. You can easily half this recipe by using green giants single serve broccoli/cauliflower and cheese. Yes, like imajule said, they are usually in the deli section. My store has them next to the cream cheese. You can find them at most grocery stores, Trader Joes, Walmart, I've heard that Sams Club has them and not sure but maybe Target?

I use Borden's or Kraft fat free sliced cheese for 25 calories a slice and it make grilled cheese with 2 slices of light bread at 70 cals and one slice of cheese at 25 for 95 cal grilled cheese. I have even used 2 slices of cheese for 120 cals....still a bargain and more cheese!
