First Week on Juddd
I have completed my first week Juddding. It was definitely easier than I thought it would be, and it was successful! I was initially afraid that since I had been low carbing I would perhaps gain a little when I switch my eating habits, but I didn't.
I have religiously counted calories on DD's....but not on UD's as it seems I have eaten out every UD and I didn't know what the calories were. I have, however, eaten a low calorie meal for dinner when I ate out for lunch. For instance, yesterday I had Ruby Tuesday salad bar with shrimp for lunch. No idea how many calories I ate...probably 3 times what I think! But for dinner I had chicken noodle soup. No snacks...And the UD before that I had chips, salsa, and shrimp fajitas, and for dinner I had baked chicken and steamed asparagus. I don't usually eat out, but this week customers have come to the barn and we've ended up going out.... On to how my weight has done this week. I weighed 186 when I started Juddd and this morning I weigh 181. I am very very pleased with not only the loss, but this WOE. I don't get too hungry on DD's, and I feel indulged on UD's. I can have my beloved milk every other day, and my kefir. And I'm losing weight! What more could a girl want? |
that's awesome!!

you are :sing: JUDDD! |
Awesome first week!
As one who eats out A LOT, I can tell you that most chain restaurants have their calorie information on-line, so it doesn't always need to be a guessing game. KUTGW! |
I just looked up fried shrimp on RT's site....it was 560 cal plus I had grilled zucchini and salad bar....
|
That's awesome! I love the freedom of being able to eat out. :)

I'm so thrilled for you, Renee! :jumpjoy:  :hugs: Not only for the lbs lost :jumpjoy:, but also how easily you've been able to adapt it to your life! For the majority of us, adaptability is key because the easier something is, the more it becomes a habit, our real way of life. Being slender and having a good handle on controlling my weight is something I want to become a habit. I bet you do, too. :)
Really happy for you! May your success and satisfaction with JUDDD continue. |

My daughter rode hunters and jumpers for 12 years, now she's running barrels. My true love is trail riding.... I LOVE reining. I'm starting to do dressage, just for me. Do you have horses? |
DD's are getting easy for me. Put simply....I have coffee and chicken broth. Whenever I want either. That's it. Couldn't be easier....

Not anymore. Our daughter grew up with a horse "habit". So we've had a Connemara pony, a Half Arabian, a National Show Horse, and a Saddlebred all of which she rode saddleseat. It was a great hobby which came with a lot of gifts for her that we wouldn't have realized when she started: confidence, tenacity -- even public speaking! Also a great capacity for teamwork and her sportsmanship which is so genuine. She rode and competed from third grade up until she left for college. We believe that her exposure and experience with horses was a huge positive influence in crafting the incredible adult she's become. |
