I blew my first UD!!

I did so good yesterday on my first DD, just over 500.

But today....2300 calories!! that's about 600-700 calories over, give or take and I am only 5' nothing. Geesh, no wonder I have weight too loose.

Okay, I had to confess so I can start with a clean slate again tomorrow and here's hoping I do better from now on

Just have a good DD tomorrow - and then a good UD the day after!!

You did fine. It takes practice to perfect a change. With JUDDD every day is a clean slate: Keep your DDs low (that is where the magic comes from) and UDs will straighten out with practice.

And, as I have said to others, don't think we are impressed by you going a mere 700 calories over! Some of our top losers began by aiming for the bulls eye and hitting the moon!

LOL Nancy. Yeah, we've seen some real blow-out UD's around here, it's where the UUAD (up up and away day) came from.

One bad day does not ruin JUDDD. Have your dd today, and tomorrow, try again to get closer to your UD cals. It does get easier as you learn what foods satisfy you, and which ones trigger you to just keep eating.

Hey Dawn, I was not quoting anything I can remember (except real life) in that one. So, I may be originator on a rewrite of "If at first you don't suceed.....". As far as I am concerned, it is all yours.

Pamela, self-flagellation is not allowed on JUDDD. To re-purpose Yoda: There is no try, keep doing until right you get it!

DDs will help by blessing you with sirtuin enzymes that invoke some weight loss. It is amazing how motivating "I can do even better!" can be.

End of day check in:

Today was DD #2 for me and it wasn't too bad. I am sitting here a little after 9 o'clock tonight with a pleasantly full tummy after 500 calories for the day I don't think I will have any trouble sleeping. No rumbling tummy keeping me awake.

I have held all your kind words in my head all day which has helped me tremendously.
