What should I do in this situation?

We just got an invite to my brother in laws 50th Birthday party, it will be at a Chinese Resturant at 5:00 pm on my DD. Should I..

A. Just try to stick it out until 5:00 when the party is on just broth, coffee and other liquids.

B. Do a medium day.

C. Do 2 DDs on Friday and Saturday then make party day an UD.

D. Something else.

I'd do your regular DD, insert a MD the day BEFORE the party, then have the party fall on an UD. Can't go wrong that way.

If you don't want to mess with your rotations, you could fast all day then make good choices at dinner.

Otherwise - go with Fast Five - or something like that - but you have enough time to plan a Medium Day!

I don't really want to mess with my rotation specifically because my Birthday next month falls on an UD . Maybe I'll just make his party a higher DD (700 as opposed to 600), 100 cals won't throw me off too much one would hope. I can survive on liquids...I hope!

I would do A, which is how I usually do a B (medium day)

Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
As PJ says, don't do two DDs in a row. Dawn's suggestion is best.

Food for thought.
This is an example of 'life happens'. As long as 'life' does not happen too frequently, no harm will be done. Even two UDs in a row vanish quickly if they are followed by a really clean DD and getting back on the rotation.

Warning, Chinese food has a lot of sodium. Whatever you do, expect water retention (which a DD or two will wash away).
