Nice day Vicky.

I wont be eating until this evening when we are going out for a Chinese with friends from our days in Hong Kong. Should be fun but probably not under 700 calories. At least when I eat a Chinese I don't drink wine, I really prefer it with tea. That will help.

I may have mentioned this before (because this is the third time I've attempted it): I'm meeting an old friend from the UK who's now living in Boston. We're meeting for lunch halfway between there and where I live. Haven't seen him in about 15 years so it should be a blast. I'm glad it's an UD!

B: coffee

Having DD#3's b-day tonight. Had to blow off a crawfish boil because of time constraints but I have some tails in the freezer so I can make ettouffe (the regular way) on an UD. Today is a Medium Day.

B-coffee with crema, 4 oz. Greek Gods yogurt mixed with 1.25 oz. trail mix, 1 tsp. palm sugar
L- blueberry protein smoothie, 1/2 banana
D-lasagna made with Dreamfield's and loaded with meat,
passing on the b-day cake (gooey butter cake)
S-HB egg with 1 T. low cal mayo

Puts my calories at about 1000 and 55-60 for carbs *with the Dreamfield"s pasta the net carbs would be less*

DD for me. Wasn't really hungry 'til about 2 pm and made an oh-so-delicous high protein smoothie w/FF greek yogurt, a scoop of vanilla protein powder, almond milk, strawberries, a small amount of pineapple and a little chunk of banana for flavor, vanilla Torani and Ideal sweetener. A good chunk of my DD cals, but it was so satisfying and I'm already planning on just a couple of boiled eggs for dinner w/some sliced cucumber. Saturday is hot dogs and mac & cheese night for rest of the family, so Saturdays are good for me to do my own easy DD thing.

Made a tray of "break and bake" cookies for a cookout we are going to, but the rain is probably going to cancel it.

Earlier I had:
-2 warm-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies
-1 glass unsweetened almond milk

A little while ago:
-bowl of strawberries
-cup of baby carrots

If they don't have the cookout, I have some crab stuff mixed up in the fridge ready to be fried as crab cakes. And some corn-on-the-cob to be shucked and cooked. And I'll probably cook the rest of the small bag of red potatoes.

B - toasted sesame seed bagel with Tofutti cream cheese, coffee & almond milk

S - So Delicious sugar free coconut milk ice cream bar. These are not low carb or very low cal but it's nice to have a treat that is free of refined sugar.

Dinner will probably be potato leek soup and a green salad.

I've been eyeing So Delicious coconut ice cream and bars at the grocer, working up to trying them (it's just the cost dissuades me right now). What is your fave flavor of the "ice cream"?

I like the no sugar chocolate ice cream in the pint size, but my favorite is the vanilla ice cream bars. I want to try the no sugar added butter pecan ice cream but haven't seen it in stores yet. The mini ice cream bars are 150 calories each. One thing I've noticed is that they melt more slowly than regular ice cream, maybe due to the lack of sugar. I like that because it means I can savor them without ice cream dripping all over.

Today has ended up a MD instead of a DD.

B - coffee w/ tiny splash of half n half
L - luna bar - 180 cals
D - 2 tacos, shrimp cocktail (mexican style, not cocktail sauce style ), a few too many chips

I havent plugged dinner into ****** yet but I know I blew my 500-600 cal limit.

I had a snack of a tiny can of tuna in lemon pepper flavor (had a coupon, tried it out-- not bad, 120 cal) and a can of smoked oysters (160 cal).

For dinner, I wound up with leftover meatloaf (meat, roasted red peppers, feta, olives, eggs, parmesan) and a lot of greenbeans.

So that's my MD-- about 1350 cal, 35 net g.

Tomorrow is an UD-- I'm bringing lemon bars from this site (topped with lemon curd from this site) to a brunch tomorrow, and not sure what else I'll be doing from there

Happy Weekend ya'll!
