Someone give me permission to eat this

I know it's part of the programming from diets past but I still cannot accept that on my first UD I can eat chocolate. I tried to be very healthy today (green smoothie, fresh veggie juice, tempeh on whole wheat) but now dinner is here and I really want chocolate but I am afraid I will sabotage my efforts.

Someone give me the green light!! :stars:

Chocolate has proven health benefits, so go ahead. Just factor it into your calories, and if you're coming from low carb, expect a little water weight, but don't feel bad at all.

piratejenny 04-10-2012 05:42 PM

You can so totally eat some chocolate!!!!!!!!! :yahoo:

Jbinme 04-10-2012 05:44 PM

No worries! Enjoy some chocolate!!

AsmallerME 04-10-2012 05:48 PM

Eat it. I'm low carb and still eat lots of chocolate. It's a requirement.

sophiethecat 04-10-2012 05:53 PM

Eat and enjoy your chocolate. :D

Just figure it into your calorie allotment and enjoy every last little bit of chocolatey goodness. :high5:

I love you all, I really do :-)

I am totally staying within my UD limits but I want to appreciate the freedom this diet gives by allowing "forbidden" foods and such. Or else what's the point right? But you know how it is- years and years of assigning "BAD" labels to some foods cause this kind of internal conflict. And I hate that! I want to heal and balance my mind along with my body. Thanks girls!

Chocolate = GOOD. Eat it and enjoy!

gotsomeold 04-11-2012 02:45 AM

Ya know, I think it would be a good thing if everyone who is not allergic or otherwise endangered would 'eat the chocolate' sometime while JUDDDing.

Realizing the rubber ball of weight really does bounce up and down as it moves towards the bottom of the stairs gives such a peaceful feeling of being in control.

I hope you enjoyed every wonderful, melt-in-mouth, blissful bite!

annieS 04-11-2012 02:52 AM

enjoy chocolate, enjoy pizza, enjoy life, you're JUDDDing ;)

Every up day I enjoy two squares of dark chocolate with almonds and sea salt along with a glass of wine. I lose weight!:jumpjoy::jumpjoy: Enjoy it.

nickicaps 04-11-2012 10:14 AM

I really can't wait until I have the first month is under my belt bc I am admittedly a skeptic- not of JUDDD but lately I feel like my own body is betraying me and that NOTHING will work.

In any event, the chocolate was amazing!

Kissa 04-11-2012 11:28 AM

I recommend Dark Chilli Chocolate, it is delicious and it doesn't hang around long.:lol::lol:

Eat woman!

vilanteira 04-11-2012 11:35 AM

Absolutely, eat the chocolate! Since adding back chocolate into my life, I've been a much saner and happier person. I usually go for the really dark chocolate since that's what I prefer in terms of taste.

I tried this one for the first time last Saturday, and it is the BEST chocolate I have ever had, the sweet chocolate with the sea salt is amazing! I eat 3 squares on UD and savor every mouth watering bite

What brand is this? :)

Kissa 04-11-2012 04:01 PM

I love salted dark chocolate, but not as much as chilli chocolate.

I am ending my UD with some right now. ;)

Chocolove dark chocolate almond & sea salt is my favorite! I also like their cherries & almond dark chocolate. :)

vilanteira 04-11-2012 08:18 PM

I have got to try this chili dark chocolate I keep hearing about! It sounds so intriguing. :)
