Stats: Jan 2014: 266/258.0/160
WOE: JUDDD range: 2200/500
Start Date: LC Jan 2003 restart Jan 2012- JUDDD start 04/2012
Results after 5th DD

I had to weigh 3 times to make sure what I saw was right...

after my first DD I was down 4lbs, but then after the 2nd, it went back up .5...
then I was away (a-weigh, ha ha) and didn't want to weigh on a strange scale.

Today's weigh in: 252.6

that's down 15 from 1/1/2012, and down about 6 from my JUDDD start date of 4/1

woo hoo! I'm not even out of induction yet, and if Sophiecat's other posts are indicative, things might get even better after 4 weeks!

Soren

Things do get better the longer you are on JUDDD. Even if your losses don't speed up, your appetite will decrease and DDs will get easier and easier. Your body will find a lot of peace on this plan. WTG!!!

Thank you EVERYONE (lol, beat that with a stick )

To answer Bev's question-- I'm doing about 2000-2200 on my up days, per the calculator, and 500 on my DD, only a couple DDs were less than 500, like 483 or 400, but generally 500.

I'm considering keeping it at 500 for another little while-- it's slightly more than 20% but less than 25% (math isn't my strong suit ) and I feel satisfied with the foods I'm choosing at that level for now.

I'm thinking when I get to 24X.x, I'll drop it below 500, maybe.

Just enjoying today for now

That makes perfect sense. If/when it is time to reduce calories, you will know. Or, if you are you will post and we will dissect your calculations and gently break it to you.

CONGRATULATIONS!

OMG, you go girl! That is OUTSTANDING!!! So happy to hear it!

We started JUDD on the same day, I'm down 5 pounds this morning, so close. I'm so amazed as my metabolism seems to have been stuck before this.

Keep up the good work!

Right back atcha!

I'm still amazed... I was totally bogged in LC for like, 7 years You should see my historical weights ... up up up, down, up up up down up up up.
I believe in LC, but I finally realized that, at least after the initial "golden shot", calories ARE a factor.

I'm just 5 dd's in to this WOE, so I am still plenty excited to see what's in store.

My motivator? Turning 40 in November, and going on 2week vacation to celebrate that (just paid for it today, in fact ).

I'm *starting* to believe, and to think about, actually being at my goal weight (or less?) one day-- I think I had previously sort of given that up, and just resolved to always be battling, but never really getting anywhere.

I'm starting to see a future where I have a normal BMI (get's my doctor off my @$$) and I look and feel on the OUTSIDE like I do on the INSIDE

Here's to another week ahead

S.
