WOE: JUDDD 1800/0-700
Start Date: ATKINS 10-2011/ JUDDD 1-2012 (SW: 217)
I started my weight loss journey in September at 242lbs, counting calories and low-carbing.

I started JUDDDing January 3, 2012: 217lbs
March 10, 2012: 198lbs

So thats 14 weeks=-19lbs

My goal weight is 135, so I started my journey with 107lbs to lose, and I have lost 44lbs of that already (19 doing JUDDD). I still have 63lbs to go...

I think one problem we are facing in answering this question is so many of our big losers dropped off the forum once they got maintenance figured out. Every once in awhile one of them pops in with words of wisdom (and to yell, "I'm still maintaining!") but LEO41 is the only heavy loser who stuck around for years. And, come to think of it, I have not seen her in awhile.

Moral of story: the best way to share success is to hang around and by golly SHARE it!!

Leo is around-- she posts on the challenge thread in the Century Club, I know that. She recently went on a cruise and just came back.

Yep, Leo is one of the most successful losers of over 100 pounds with JUDDD.

I'm here also with 100 or so pounds to lose. I started LCing in January and lost my first 20. Then switched to LC JUDDD and have lost about 20 in only 6 weeks. It's been faster overall with JUDDD and LC than LC alone for me. I have less than 100 to go now and I can't imagine why this won't work all the way to goal. So far my losses haven't even slowed really - I'm still 2-3 per week on average. My goal is to see onderland by Sept of this year.

I have over 100 to lose too. I have been doing JUDDD, gluten-free, for almost 3 months. I don't see why I could not lose 100 on this plan. I made the decision I need to do this for life any way. It will certainly take longer than others to meet the goal and it isn't a super fast way to lose like HCG, but I couldn't keep HCG weight off, so what is the point of that?

I just take it one day at a time and do the very best I can that day. Like many on here, I would love to hit my dream- onederland- by my birthday, but that may not be feasible. I usually don't target specific dates for goals because that can lead me to disappointment, but I am secretly hoping for it. Shhhh...don't tell anyone but the whoosh fairy..

and best wishes for wonderful losses.

Welcome Hippiegirl!

I have about 60 lbs. to lose. I've done JUDDD before (non low carb and fell off the wagon after a 14 lb. loss), went low carb in January (my own version), and began combining it with JUDDD in mid-March. No huge losses for me yet. I either have an extremely damaged metabolism, thyroid problems, or my metabolism just went bye-bye (been trying to lose weight for over 30 years). Am hoping sticking with JUDDD this time will be the answer for me.

The DD's get easier. In fact, I'm becoming more comfortable with DD's than UD's.

Welcome to the group!

It's good to start a thread for us newbies that have 100+ to lose. I kind of grit my teeth when I read posters disappointed on their slow results on JUDDD, only to find that they weigh 130 pounds.
My backside alone weighs 130 pounds.

I hear ya!

On the flip side-- I've been doing this for about a week, and I have a pair of Kiyonna size 3 (i.e 3x) jeggings that are now FALLING OFF... I either take them in, or give them to someone.

anyone want them? I've worn them about 2x (not sure why I bought the 3x, I think I gave up ever losing any weight). Let me know

I'm so glad you said this. I'd give anything to only have 5-10 lbs. to lose.

I know, right? I love the discussions about the last 2 lbs, or staying in the maintenance range. I'm not complaining, I just can't wait till I can have those conversations too

the one weird thing (is this JUDDD magic, or just hallucinating) is I'm starting to wonder if my goal weight (160) is low enough
Seems some people go for a weight, and then wind up 5lbs under.

I can't even fathom naturally going to some lower-than-160 weight, but it's sort of fun to think about.... guess my carts and horses are all mixed up eh?

Anyway-- I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. My next goal is under 250, and I'm just taking it in 5lb increments, to make it manageable

WOE: JUDDD FOR LIFE!

So glad you decided to give this a shot! I think you will as pleased as the rest of us newbies.. and i too now am re-thinking my "goal" Weight.. Since this actually works.. i only set what i thought was an "impossible goal of only 185" I am now beliveing that its possible to go lower!!! I was so willing to settle for "only" a 40 pound loss. But now that i am in Onederland finally!!! and have lost 28 pds. (14.6 in 5 weeks) JUDDD pounds i am sooo in this for the long haul!!! and you can do this!!

Oooh I love Kiyonna, maybe I can gain some weight to fit into your jeggings? I have a really nice 2X lace boudoir dress from there that I'll be sad to grow out of, but it's ok!

I have lots to lose- guess I forgot to mention that- I was just so excited to see hippiegirl here after all these years!! I started with 166 to lose- lost a lot on LC, then gained a few until I was exactly at the halfway mark, so started JUDDD with 83 to lose. I'm still 59.5 from goal.

Me, too! Then we'll have to remember (if I EVER get there) that someone is lurking, reading and rolling their eyes about our complaining over 2 lbs.!

I've got my carts and horses messed up, too, then! Being 160 last occurred for me some 20+ years ago and I fantasize about being there again. Then going lower. Hope springs eternal!
