I stayed pretty close to a DD for Easter (700 cals!) but am up 6lbs from the stupid ham sodium

UD but keeping it simple:
B: coffee w/almond milk; 2 eggs poached w/butter
D: chicken tenderloin w/garlic and evoo; roasted asparagus
S: probably the same as D or may use the chicken to make chicken salad for the calories(chicken, mayo, mustard and onions, using celery or cucumber slices as "bread")

I really wanted a burger today, but that can wait until later in the week

Dottie That is why I did not buy a ham. I would have been in the same boat.
DD
B - 2 eggs with SF apricot preserves (180) seeing if I can quit coffee since I only like it with lots of HWC and Splenda
L - soup with shirataki rice (200)
D - tilapia (120)
Total 500

It's funny, yes? I could have eaten the same amount of sodium in another food and not been bothered by it, but ham or corned beef always do this. Maybe it's the type of sodium used?

I think I'm going to follow you on this. I did have coffee with half and half because I don't have any protein shakes, but until dinner I'm going to try to just do just liquids...

Probably the combination of the other things like the sodium nitrates or sodium nitirites . Can never remember which it is.

Good morning! Still woozy but feeling a heap better than the last 3 days. I'm still in bed, sipping a blend of green and black decaf with stevia.

I have plans to go to the grocery store before noon.

Oh, today is supposed to be a FD, after having Fast 5ish days for the past 5 or 6 days due to my stomach (could barely eat all day, then feel a little better in the p.m. and eat a meal). So hopefully I can eat properly all day and continue the rotation tomorrow.

DD and only coffee so far-

I would like to get back to 0- (or nearly 0-) calorie DDs, especially when they fall
on school days. LOL- that is, unless they fall on a test day. Then I think I should
eat something, at least in the morning. Today is a school day, so I'm not planning
on any solid food today. Just water and coffee now, and water and iced tea when
I get home. Maybe a caffeinated soda if i need it, in the afternoon.

My very first DD today!

Been s-l-o-w-l-y sipping unsweetened iced green tea all day long...

Also had a smoothie (250 cal):

1 c unsweetened almond milk
2 scoops hemp protein
1 scoop fiber
1 scoop Pure Synergy
1 Tsp vitamin c
1/2 banana
a few drops of english toffee stevia

It was palatable but definitely not delicious, which is good bc if it were I would have probably fallen off the DD wagon :-)

Later tonight I will duplicate the smoothie down to 150 calories or so...

-1 can chicken tortilla soup with black pepper sprinkled on and Saltine crackers.

That's probably all I'll eat until later when I get done with an event out of town. Then I may tie on at the feed trough, lol. As in, pick up some fast food. Maybe a Wendys hamburger and value fries.

seriously? I'm trying to imagine how that would taste... how did you come to love that? My weird thing is salami (like, beef salami, kosher/american style) with cream cheese and yellow mustard
