Question: Does Marmite need to be refrigerated once opened? I stuck mine in the fridge just in case.

Thanks Hannah! Makes it easier to spread too. Sadly, no squeezie bottles here.

This is so funny, we should rename it the Marmite thread.

The cruise sounds wonderful Vicky, Steve will love it too. Go for the Zumba, you know how much fun it is, and you will meet new people too.

I'll be looking out for the squeezy marmite this weekend when I'm in the UK!

Mint, the cruise sounds fab and good for you with the zumba.

I'm at my lowest weight since before Xmas, so I'm very happy with JUDDD. Still got 8-10lbs to go, but it'll be put on hold for a while - I'm doing the London marathon on Sunday so need to start carb loading from tomorrow, which is a scary thought. I don't want to gain any weight!!

I love it. On hot buttered toast it's heaven.

I'm about to try a Waitrose Love Life ready meal - looks good at 243 cals for a DD meal. I think Waitrose are just in the UK. The meals have the cal count in large numbers on the front and are also healthy.

I've read that Lean Cuisine are not always as low cal as they say they are. They are certainly full of thickeners and not that nice so fingers crossed for Waitrose.

Spread the word of good DD food finds in the UK! Or just other wonderful food in general. I'll drool quietly from here in Oz!

Yes, Satragazer the Waitrose meals, soups etc seem much nicer than most of the other low cal Ready Meals. I bought a WW macaroni cheese that wasn't fit for human consumption in my opinion.

My DD today is going well, I have been to my Zumba class, enjoyed a latte at Dunelm Mill, along with a bit of retail therapy, and just had a Bovril granule drink. It is now 3.45.

This evening, after visiting FIL in hospital we are meeting family at a pub for dinner. I doubt I will come in under 800 cals even if I avoid a glass of wine. But I was 124.4 after an UD yesterday so I should be fine.

Nice to keep this thread busy, I hope to see it as a really good support.

Hi, just quickly popping by to say I'm off to the UK now, but will try to pop in next week to let you all know how I get on in the marathon on Sunday - wish me luck! Good news from me on JUDDD by the way, I'm down to 139 which is finally back to the weight in my stats, lol!

Have a lovely weekend all!

Good luck for Sunday Blotto, hope your foot doesn't give yo too much trouble. I'll be sending good vibes your way. Enjoy your carb up, not quite so scary on JUDDD.

Off out for lunch, eye test and shopping. Sunshine here even though it is cold.

How did it go blotto?

Kissa, I've seen you mention you like eating chili chocolate, which I have tried before but not since Juddding!

For my obligatory UD chocolate today, I bought a 30g bar of Montezuma 73% chili chocolate - and I'm so happy I did! It really is quite hot so I can't cram it in like I usually do with other chocolate, perfect yummy way to control my chocolate addiction!

Hi everyone!

Mint: what a hardship, LOL!!!!

My weekend was fine, I'm being a very consciencious JUDDDer and making sure I exercise every day, and I'm losing inches! Quite happy!
Also, I've noticed my DD's are much easier when I don't eat until dinner time and keep my calories around 350 for one meal. During the day I'm not hungry and I sip on water, tea and coffee, and then in the evening I sit down with BF and we have dinner together.
He eats whatever he wants in enormous quantities and I eat my carefully weighed and measured food, LOL! But it works for us!

My DD on Saturday went really well, I did T-Tapp in the morning, then we went for a walk with the dog for about 45 minutes, and in the afternoon went for a longer walk of about 90 minutes and I didn't even feel any hunger till my evening meal.

I've also noticed that on DD's I feel more alert. I also fall asleep easier when I get to bed finally, and I sleep better. On UD's I feel foggy in the afternoon after eating lunch/brunch. I don't have breakfast, so I'm not sure if it's anything to do with my body trying to burn whatever it is I put in there and thus not having time for other stuff, like keeping me awake, LOL!

Isn't JUDDD great!!!???

A lot of people report sleeping better!!

I too prefer not to have breakfast - if possible - some days, I'm just really hungry - not often though!

We have friends staying tomorrow and it's a DD - so my plan is to fast until dinner - which will be a bbq and salad (easy to get under 500!!)

As a member in Germany I'm bumping along with Cindy, LOL!

Hope you all pop in to have a chat!

How is everyone doing today?

I'm ok, got a bad back today, spent the weekend at my parents' house, and for some reason my back always hurts afterwards... I think it's the matress!
Anyway, did some T-Tapp to help, which has relieved the pain somewhat.

For the rest, all is well here, the weather is freezing! They are saying it's going to cheer up a bit, hopefully it will be better for the weekend. DD is not helping with the cold either, LOL!

BF and I have organised our holiday in June, and we're going on a road trip in Germany, something I've been wanting to do for a while. I've lived here for 2 and a half years, and not had the time or made the effort to do some proper sightseeing... I know my own region pretty well now, but we're going to travel south a bit:

First stop Koblenz, then along the Mosel down to Trier, from there a quick stop in the Alsace in Strasbourg, then back into Germany to the Black Forest in Baden Baden, from there to Heidelberg and on to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and via Sauerland back home in OWL (Ostwestfalen, the region where I live) All in all 12 days so we have some days at home before and after to get back to our ordinary lives.
Looking forward to it already!

Lovely seeing this thread active. It is great way to exchange food ideas that aren't all US based too.

I changed my DD into an UD yesterday. Went out to dinner and had garlic bread, lasagne and my share of a bottle of red at our local Italian.

Been to Zumba this morning and planning a good DD. Probably having salmon and salad tonight. Bovril Granule drink shortly. I love these, only 8 calories and feels like a real soup. I have only found them in The Pound Shop, anyone else know where they might be available?

I am determined to visit the Devon Chilli Farm while we are here this time. I have a friend in London who wants some of their dried chillies.

don't like hot chillis...... didn't know there was a farm. UD a week on sat when I go to devon county show, gonna be loads of food to try, I am so looking forward to that day.

Kissa Q) Is it best to not have any food on a DD, or best to have 500, only yesterday I reckon I could have gone the day without???
