This is so encouraging! I'm just starting my second week of JUDDD and must admit that the little losses, followed by the little increases in weight, are not exactly exciting to watch, but I'm determined to give this a fair shake and hopefully see some of the wonderful benefits you all have experienced! Thank you for sharing!

I've been JUDDDing for 3.5 mos.
The first 5-6 weeks were hard on DDs, but since then I have tremendous amounts of energy, sleep better and sleepwalk/sleep eat way less, total appetite suppression on DDs, make overall good food choice, am having my relationship with food and the scale healed, weight loss of course, loss of inches, seeing some definition/muscles with no exercise, no longer wear plus size clothes, less pain, and almost the total absence of debilitating headaches, better diabetes control, near perfect BP and did I mention the ENERGY! JUDDD is just about the best thing that has happened to my health in 15 years!

Really just subbing because this is going to be a great help. I'm in Week 6 and had really good weight loss for the first month, 12 pounds, but have lost only two so far this month but I expected it to slow down so am not disappointed. I love this WOE and I have been experiencing the "laid-back feeling" I've been experiencing and don't even yell at other drivers when I'm on the road any more. (even tho' they are still a##h@@@s)

I'm looking forward to week eight on this WOE and thank you all for sharing your experiences...

JUDDD is really working for me! I am in week 6 and have lost 12.7 lbs.
Not only have lost weight, I have lost inches also.
I definetly have more energy and I can honestly say that DD's are becoming much easier.

Wonderful to read that the JUDDD magic is alive and well.

I have had so much stress and vacations lately, but I am still within my Maintenance numbers. Thank you JUDDD.

I am on my 2nd UD today. So far I am liking JUDDD but it is a challenge figuring calories when I am so used to carb counting. I know carb counts. Calories, not so much. So the beginning of this woe will be a challange. So far I haven't counted calories. Had mostly shakes yesterday with a small amount of chicken and the cabbage, laughing cow thing that I just love. So I think I did ok yesterday. Today, I am at a loss knowing what to eat. Low carb is so ingrained in my thinking that eating carbs will be a real challenge. And then to count the calories. An adjustment, but I too feel the euphoria on DD's and so far am really liking JUDDD. And I enjoyed this thread so wanted to post it and bring it up again.

It's interesting to see these old threads bumped back up.

Update: I got normalized on my thyroid medication and am no longer miserable, but I still never got the "magic" back that others speak of. DDs are easy, but I don't get increased energy or excessively peaceful or calm feelings. I'm weird though, and readily admit it.

I still love everything about it. I maintained for 7 mos with 5:2, but have been doing EOD since the new year since DW has started JUDDDing, too.

I still get fantastic energy on DDs, but am overall much more energetic at all times. I no longer have diabetes- period! No more injections or meds for that. My self confidence has improved 10 fold and because of that I received a great promotion in May and a fabulous evaluation in mid-January. I get to enjoy all my size 4Ps that I kept during the time I was heavy and have actually had some fun shopping trips. Something I use to absolutely dread. This 5'2" chica didn't look cute in size 20.

I will join you in that weirdness. I've said this before, in re: pterostilbene and various supplements, but if the proposed mechanism for JUDDD's effectiveness is correct, I suspect that you and I are non-responders. What's interesting is that the programme still works for us despite that, which is

I havenít had any of that stuff either. Iíve lost weight, and I havenít had any less energy, but there hasnít been any more either, and sometimes thereís a not very nice wired kind of feeling. (Iíve had that whenever I do something that makes me actually burn some of that stored fat, not just with intermittent calorie restriction.)

I completely agree. It's amazing that it's still doable and enjoyable and EFFECTIVE, even without the benefits others report. I suspect if I had the euphoric feelings on DDs that others report, I wouldn't keep experimenting with other WsOE, and yet, I always return to JUDDD.

I think I've had quite a bit of JUDDD magic, but sometimes it doesn't feel dramatic. I do have the DD calm much of the time. And weirdly, DD energy and DD calm are not mutually exclusive, but I've had a few DDs when I'm just zooming around and I get so much done.

My allergies are better, and my facial flushing/redness that I always suspected was rosacea is 99% gone. I started having a touch of it at the end of the holiday season and I'm pretty sure it was because I wasn't rotating or watching sugar/wheat for over a week.

Aches and pains are almost nearly gone. I'm sure it's partly to do with losing so much weight, but also, my joints just feel more flexible. My stamina is through the roof - again partly due to losses, but I also attribute it to JUDDD.

There are more...I could go on and on, but these are the biggies for me.

I'm still pretty new to all this so I don't know if I've got the "magic" or not. But I am really enjoying the peace of mind that JUDD provides as an effective maintenance tool. For the first time in a long while I'm looking forward to vacation knowing that I'll probably put on a few pounds as usual and be able to come home, slip back into rotations and lose them again.

I know that's not always easy, but after coming here every day and reading about the "Holiday Sagas" I feel confident that this works. I'm not going to go hog wild but with this new tool in my toolbox I think I can relax a little bit.

Just this week my coworkers wanted me to go to our favorite mexican restaurant. It was my DD but i went anyway and didn't eat. I wasn't uncomfortable or even tempted. I knew I could have it tomorrow if I really wanted it. I think the peaceful, comfortable feeling that you get on DD has strengthened as I have progressed with this WOE.
Wow that's pretty awesome! I could NEVER go to a Mexican restaurant and not eat anything. That's my favorite food! LOL! Heck on DD's I can't even watch Food Network cuz I find it makes me hungry!
