First week done!

I just finished my first week of JUDDD and weighed in at 128.9 (down from 133.5). That's 4.6 lbs in a week! I'm thrilled! I'm finding this WOE mostly enjoyable, just a little difficult at times but nothing I can't handle. I feel lighter and happier and my tummy feels lovely and flat (I always have trouble with bloating). I'm so glad I stumbled on this lovely group, coming here to read really keeps me motivated so thanks to all of you!

Great news! That is a really impressive weight loss.

The 'mostly enjoyable' should get less intense over the next few weeks.

Thank you all!

Babykinz; No. I started low carb on the 2nd of Feb and lost 10lbs in about 10 days and then bounced up and down around there for ages. Then, went off it (my intention was only for a few a days but it actually went on for a about three weeks) and I ate everything and anything I wanted, I seriously went over board! In that time my weight bounced up and down from the low weight I'd hit on LC (131) but the morning I started JUDDD I, surprisingly, only weighed 133.5. I definitely should have gained more! My intention was to control my carbs somewhat on JUDDD but I haven't at all so I really am completely shocked at this loss!

What great start Stitch, yes, we are often shocked that carbs don't turn us into screaming green monsters, lol.

Yes, it is shocking! To be honest, I have been behaving terribly, at least half my UD cals have been coming from chocolate, awful I know. I must attempt to get my sugar intake under control and to get some proper nutrients in!

This will come with more time on the woe, Stitch. Many of us started out by jumping head-first into the carbs, but things had a way of moderating as we went along. Since JUDDD has the built-in calorie limit on UDs, at least that kept the vast majority of us in line with our calories, no matter if they came from chocolate or prime rib, and so the woe still works. Saying it again - with enough time on JUDDD, you will also see a reduction in over-consumption of refined carbs being replaced with healthier fare.

KUTGW!

I am still doing the same thing except that the things I was missing were chips and pizza! I missed so many foods following LC. I am still so extremely happy to be able to eat these foods and still lose weight! (I am slowly reigning myself in but am shocked I am not gaining)
Congratulations on your successful fist week

Yes, you and Stitch enjoy that pizza, chips, chocolate! As long as your calorie numbers are held to, it doesn't matter where they come from. And over time you will moderate, but for now, enjoy eating the things you missed on LC!
