So, what has one week off done for me!

So, we went to a friend's house last Thursday (2 hour drive away) and stayed over - it was UD. The next day we stayed with another friend - it was MD, then I went to help a friend paint her house - should have been a MD - but was an UD. The Sunday should have been a DD - but as we were still painting and then went to a friend's house for Sunday Roast - I planned on IF - but it became an UD. Monday, I had a hangover (oops) became an UD - by Tuesday I just thought - oh well! Wednesday & Thursday on a course, staying with friends so after 6 days of UD - I wasn't going to be 'fussy'.

Anyway today is my first DD since a week ago last Wednesday (oops!). I am back up 3.6lbs up from my Profile weight. However, I truly only hit that low one morning - and then was hovering around 228.5 for the next few days - so I'm only up 2lbs!

The 3.6lbs andmore will be gone in a few days!!!

It's really nice to know that we can maneuver the curves of life and still come back to JUDDD love! I just have to remember to COME BACK and not let myself totally derail, catch fire and crash into the ocean. LOL!

Being able to take off a week for life stuff, not worry and fret, and then get right back on and undue the "damage" in a week or so is SO incredible. You'll likely blow right past that previous low in no time. Sometimes, it seems an up week like that just revs the metabolism into high gear, so that when you restrict again, it just burns the fat away that much faster. (not that you could do it all the time and have it work of course).

Glad you enjoyed your time with friends.

I cannot tell you how GREAT this just made me feel!!!! It's late at night. today was a DD for me. And it was until............

DH invited an author who is writing a book over to interview him. DH asked me to get some wine and appetizers and make it a nice atmosphere...... Geez. He is a big time war hero and she is writing a book about the war and the heroes....I get it.

I did my thing and the evening went on forever!!!!!

She left and DH says let's go out for dinner. Well, I'm not hungry. This is a DD and I am sooooooo not hungry and had a dinner planned out for him.

But, we went out to this Italian place. Their food is crazy good. It's not like I ate a lot. I did box up half. But this was not a DD after all that.

I was feeling a bit defeated. Then I read this thread! Oh, YES! JUDD is forgiving and I can get back on board. I am not totally derailed! Yes! Yes! Yes!! (No, I'm not Meg Ryan! lol)

Thanks for sharing this thread! I am going to be ok.
