How to do a MD? Not losing much, either.
Hey, Everyone,
It's almost Easter and it's supposed to be a DD for me. Yeah, right! ![]() I'm on Day 10 of JUDDD; am eating about 1600 calories on my UD and 500 on my DD. Maybe stick to about 1000 for a MD? Here's my track record; I don't seem to be losing very much? ![]() Thanks, Susan March 27 (Day 1) DD– 147 (492 calories) 28 (Day 2) UP – 146.8 (1753 c) 29 (Day 3) DD– 146.4 (490 c) 30 (Day 4) UP – 146 (1382 c) 218 c below; ate Chinese veggie stir fry 31 (Day 5) DD – 148.8 (527 c) April 1 (Day 6) UD – 142.6 (1606 c) 2 (Day 7) DD – 146 (481 c) 3 (Day 8) UD – 145.8 (1669 c) 4 (Day 9) DD - 145.4 (520 c) 5 (Day 10) UD – 146.8 |

Make tomorrow your regular DD, Saturday a MD (1050 is the average for you), and Sunday an UD.
You're still in your first couple of weeks, so I wouldn't worry about the loss just yet. Give yourself a few weeks to a month, and see if your SIRT1's get activated and start burning, burning, burning! |

I agree with Dawn about MD cals. I think 1050 is a good idea.
Keep on truckin'! If you don't see a loss in the next few weeks, maybe we can help you tweek a few things. Your UDs seem a little low to me, but who knows? |

Thank you! I'm always open for suggestions! Will try raising my calories a bit on my UD. Happy Easter! ![]() Susan |

That being said, MDs are not to be used willy nilly. They shouldn't be used at all during the first 2 weeks to a month. However, life being what it is, sometimes you have to throw one in here and there. I'm stingy with mine. I've only used one in almost 4 months of JUDDDing. |

I seem to have to use MD more and more! I am still losing, but my life requires a ton of "social" business events in April. I eat about 1000 and it is usually when my DD gets way-layed by something I was not expecting!
