I cannot be hungry, yesterday was an UD
Seriously, I had to force myself to eat last night just to get within 200 of the low end of my UD calories. Wasn't hungry.
I get up this morning and start fantasizing about eggs benedict for Easter brunch with oven roasted asparagus. Drank my chia almond milk, took supps, chugged a quart of hot water. Still want food. I don't FEEL hungry exactly, but I sure do feel needy - if you can appreciate the distinction. I did get up and exercise this morning, I have been exercising in the p.m. mostly lately, wonder if that is a contributor? Gonna go run errands and get away from food.

I woke up the same way. I forced myself to eat an ounce of almonds last night just to get the calories up a little more. But this morning I was starved! I had a small piece of low-fat cheese and that helped.

I have that "hungry" feel today, but is better in my mind than the STUFFED feeling I felt after supper last night. or that is what I keep telling myself.
I know I don't look it and am far from it but I love the "skinny" feeling I have on DD. I can eat tomorrow |

I had the same pangs yesterday and I was not happy!!!
I think you all should be excited, because I woke up to my biggest overnight loss yet. 2.2 lbs! I am wondering if anyone else can verify that this has happened for them??? Could the difficult or tough days of fasting actually mean that burning and melting of fat is the cause??? I would love to hear from others who may have seen the same result! |

This happens to me a lot! I eat breakfast on a UD and could really care less about food the rest of the day. (Yes, I make my calories... ...but I would be fine not eating again). Then on a DD, I want all the things I could have had yesterday and more... Usually, if I'm really hungry, I'm going to drop some weight, so I hope that is true for you too! |

My vote is for the exercise. I'm always hungrier on days I exercise. When I was doing JUDDD I would allow for extra calories even on DDs if I exercised. I use ************ and it calculates your net calories minus the exercise. I would usually eat 200 more calories to make up for the exercise deficit. Either way, hope you feel better and the hungries go away!!! How about some sugar-free gum to at least chew something?

oh goodness thats how I had been last 2 DD's. I blew those days too.
I think it is because its spring time. The weather gets nicer and the sunshining. You move more and are just happier, and your body wants food (dna thing from our ancestors (sp?), starve the winter feed again in the spring). I just know I gotta stop this starving feeling on DD's cause the scale is going the wrong way last few days! |

I'm hungry today too. So far holding out. No breakfast, and the cabbage dish for lunch. Need to have some more water, and maybe a cup of decaf coffee to see if I can fill the hole.
I just keep reminding myself that hunger is not an emergency, and I'll be able to eat in a few hours for supper. Oh, and I exercised this morning too. |

My last two DDs were like that, even though I ate well on the UDs before them. Mine were due to it being OV time for me though, which always leads to that increased hunger no matter what. The strange thing is that for the first time today on an UD, I don't feel hungry at all. Couldn't finish half of my lunch and I have no desire to eat at all for the rest of the day. I know a lot of you experience this appetite suppression on UDs, but for me I usually feel the appetite suppression on DDs and rarely ever on UDs. It's such a weird feeling for me.

Me too, here! What's going on...is it the moon?!
I just decided to make it a MD since I hadn't really thought about/planned for Easter...going to our neighbors'. Now it will fall on an UD! Sometimes I find DDs easier to do after a MD than after an UD. I've even been wondering if that would work as a rotation...UD, MD, DD, etc....I know I shouldn't mess with JUDDD too much, though! ![]() Last edited by piratejenny; 04-04-2012 at 01:50 PM.. |

This happened to a group of us a week or two ago... I thought I'd blame it on the moon lining up with Venus and Saturn. ![]() |
