I have a lot of cooking to do ! I'm judging different cooking-blog contest and I have to create 2 recipes to introduce the contest on my own blog...

B = bread & applesauce
L = salad and sweet mango chutney gyoza (first contest)
D = something flower shaped (2nd contest) but I still have to figure what !!!

L=lettuce with chicken and balsamic dressing spray
D= dunno yet... depends on how many cupso fo coffee I drink. I havent been able to go black yet so I have to count my creamer...

B: coffee w/almond milk. I'm sort of hungry, if it doesn't pass with the coffee I'll have a hard boiled egg
D: chicken breast "sandwich" on romaine; zucchini soup (zucchini cooked in chicken broth and pureed w/salt, pepper, garlic, etc) They didn't have the pre-cooked chicken listed so I used one with the same calories and carbs as the hillshire farms grilled chicken breast.
S: 96% lean ground beef w/laughing cow cheese and shirataki noodles

UD....what am I eating? EVERYTHING in sight! (kidding...sort of!). I had a tough DD yesterday and went over by 50 cals, but if I hadn't had that hard boiled egg at 9:00 last night I was going to lose it! I was beyond hungry all day yesterday.

I have 1,700 to play with today.

B: coffee with 3 T 1/2&1/2 plus 1 packet Stevia (60)
S: granola bar (90)
L: frozen meal of some sort (300), coffee (60)
S: not sure on the rest of the day....depends on what I find while grocery shopping.

We bought some breakfast sausage yesterday at costco so I'll probably have that and eggs for breakfast.

Have pork chops marinating in Teryaki sauce for dinner. I think I was cole slaw so maybe I'll run out and get some cabbage.

Supper omelet, Canadian bacon and English muffin-I LOVE breakfast for supper!!
and some type of snack that will bring me to around 1800 calories

Coffee, diet coke, tried one Laughing Cow Light as you ladies seem to use these to take off the edge.

For supper I plan to eat a two egg omelette with some asparagus, which I can steam.

I just sat through a social lunch watching everyone tuck into burgers while I drank my fizzy water and felt no hunger at all.

So far just my hot tea blend with Stevia.

When I get hungry later, I'll probably have all or a combination of...

-whole milk plain yogurt with blackberries, strawberries & stevia.
-chocolate protein shake with Silk coconut milk & Silk almond milk
-apple
-small cobb salad with fork-dipped ranch

All that would come to about 600 calories if I need to eat it all.

Some pasta from yesterday that I didn't finish and a nice side of broccoli/cauli cooked in the microwave probably. (250) it won't be that much pasta.

I am sick again so I'm all about no work...:laugh: I don't know if I'm sick or if it's allergies...probably the latter...but it is kicking my butt this year. UGH.

I planned it in ********* b/c like you've all said, sometimes it's hard to get all your calories in. According to the calculator, I've got 2269 to play with, but that's way too much for me-- If I eat everything I want to, I usually come in around 2000, and I think that's sufficiently different from 500 to activate the metabolism etc.

B: 2 large eggs, 2 slices of thick bacon, real mayo for the eggs
water, vitamins
L: 6 slices mortadella, 2oz of triple cream brie
D: a boneless rib steak, probably a good 12oz, and a cup of broccoli florets with butter

I wanted to stack the meals so dinner was heavy, so that I have an easier DD tomorrow with the 6hr drive I have to do. Hope it works! :)

I have no idea it is a DD and it is almost 11 AM
I have had three waters, two green teas and coffee with sugar free creamer
Eventually I will eat an hardboiled egg
Husband bought me fish for dinner yesterday (he thought it was a DD lol I have him trained almost) and asparagus. So that will be dinner tonight.

L: sushi rolls out at lunch with coworkers (yellowtail scallion, tuna avocado, salmon skin)
D: 6-layer casserole, spicy chicken andouille sausage, LC wedge

Around 1500 calories, so I'll be adding more to dinner or have some snacks. Just haven't decided what yet.

It's an UP day for me:

B- scrambled eggs and toast with my no-cook marmalade
L- Chicken/Flatout Shawarma Wraps and an orange
D- Roast Pork Loin, mashed cauli and steamed spinach
S- Not sure yet :)

Up day today. Hit 225 on the scale this morning. I counted up my down days (I keep a notebook by the scale and record each weight and up/down day). I have had 45 (not all of them perfect) down days since 1/1/12, and have lost 15 lbs. averaging 1/3 of a pound per down day. I am very happy with this rate of loss.

B: 6 dried apricots (100 cals)
L: spinach & cheese ravioli, cooked, then put under the broiler w/ parmesan cheese on top. Have some marinara to dip them in.
D: Roast chicken w/lemon, rosemary & garlic, and roast veggies w/balsamic vinegar.

I will probably also have a snack somewhere in there. Oh! And there is some caramel crunch gelato in the fridge for dessert. Mmmmm.

Not quite sure why, but for the first time, I'm completely not hungry on an UD. Couldn't eat half of my lunch, and I'm so full that the thought of eating anything for dinner is so unappealing. Wow...how to squeeze in 1200 more calories of food that I like that isn't filling in any way? Even things like macadamia nuts and cheese sound way too filling. :stars:

Down Day for me :( Keeping it under 400 Calories
  • B=1/2 cup cottage cheese, its what I have every morning
  • L= 2 Wasa Crackers with laughing Cow cheese spread on them, a thin slice of turkey breast and roasted red pepper on top.
  • D=Only have 30 caloies left so some Steamed Cabbage.

Wow, amazingly enough I had no real hunger today until about 4 p.m. I sipped my hot tea until after noon. I had a lot of energy and later did some grocery shopping without any issue. Got home and put it away, then felt the need to eat settling in.

4 p.m.
-apple
-1 c. whole milk plain yogurt + 2 large cut up strawberries, 1/4 c. blackberries, 1/2 small cut up banana + stevia

So around 300 calories.
