DH just texted me that dinner is chuck steak, veggies, low calorie pasta and sauce. YUM, but I don't think I'll have enough calories, so I'm going to have to supplement with wine and chocolate again.

I had the same question, but DH has not filled me in yet. I shall check into it when I get home. I suspect he meant low carb, but you know how men are. Diet is diet is diet . . . But who knows, he may have discovered a lighter pasta at the grocery store.

4 p.m.
-apple
-1 c. whole milk plain yogurt + 2 large cut up strawberries, 1/4 c. blackberries, 1/2 small cut up banana + stevia

So around 300 calories.
Just now started sipping some wine while making dinner. Dinner will be...

-spaghetti with sauce that includes ground turkey, onion, mushrooms, yellow pepper
-garlic bread made from deli-baked French bread, melted butter, "jar" garlic, Italian seasonings, bit of salt and maybe a bit of cheese melted on.. I make my garlic bread in a skillet cause the oven dries it out too much
-cobb salad with Ranch

I whipped up some SF chocolate pudding with half Silk Coconut Milk (STILL trying to use this stuff up! lol and half Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk).

I also have something "new to me" to try if I want - CARAMEL Creme Eggs. So far I like the chocolate ones better than the regular, so we will see about caramel. Walmart had the notorious 5-packs.

Some pasta from yesterday that I didn't finish and a nice side of broccoli/cauli cooked in the microwave probably. (250) it won't be that much pasta.

I am sick again so I'm all about no work... I don't know if I'm sick or if it's allergies...probably the latter...but it is kicking my butt this year. UGH.
Hope it's "just" allergies so you can take some meds and feel better. It's been a terrible allergy season with the tree pollen. Hoe you feel better soon.

The caramel ones are good...just very caramelly (is that a word?). I like the mini caramels eggs because they have a better caramel to chocolate ratio. I wouldn't turn down a big one though.

I also suggest the peep chocolates that just came out this year. I don't like peeps - these are nothing like them. They are little chocolates with a white center and they taste divine.

I can't believe I'm in the same boat!

Last week, I would've been happy at 1900 calories (my steak turned out smaller than I anticipated, and with rib steak, 5 ounces is a big difference!)

So, my 12oz steak turned to 7oz (there's a dirty joke in there about shrinking beef, but I'm not going for it... amuse yourselves )

So, now I'm scrounging for chocolate and peanut butter!

I'm having 1/2 a Ross sugar-free bar, and 1T of peanut butter (chunky-- don't want to start any battles or anything, just sayin' )

I'm ending my UD with 2071 calories (will have some chocolate almond milk before bed).

I have my DD tomorrow planned, I let my mom know I need a salad (but that's another story for another thread...), and then I even mapped out my next UD so I know what to eat before the passover dinner (called a Seder, pronounced say-der).

VERY EXCITED for Friday, and just hope I don't (literally) crash and burn while I'm driving tomorrow.

ttfn!
Soren

Ended up not being terribly low calorie. Whole wheat rotini. It was still yummy though with Prego heart healthy traditional sauce.

-Had the above dinner, and small seconds on the spaghetti and garlic bread.

-1 Caramel Creme Egg. Pretty good. I think the chocolate is my fave, but the caramel certainly is ooey and gooey.

-More wine.

-1 of the SF chocolate pudding and I whipped up some hwc to go on top of it. Was OK but - Ugh. I have had enough sweet tasting things for the night, lol.

Spent the night eating cheese, liverwurst, 85% chocolate and almond butter to reach my calorie limit. It's been a weird day for me.

I sure hope my DD goes well tomorrow...

D: two corn tortillas, boneless chicken breast, mix of Whole Foods queso dip and lite sour cream YUM

And now I shall go to bed and dream of babykinz's "food glorious food" video and when I wake up it shall be so.
