I love this thread!!
I've only had a few drinks one night since starting JUDDD, and it didnt seem to
affect my weight loss. Granted it was on an UD. With warmer weather
coming up I've been researching which brand of wine coolers has the
least calories...Im looking forward to being able to have a few and still
have the scale move....and I probably will have 1 on a DD.
Thanks for bringing up this topic!

I have not seen alcohol help or hinder my weight loss. Weight-lossly speaking, my body seems to react to it as calories.

I've been thinking about this thread - and the daily food threads - and thinking how many of us enjoy a glass of plonk, bottle of beer or a shot of something - and there's no remonstrations from those who don't.

I know that elsewhere on these boards I feel like I've been censured for having a drink or two.

So a big thank you, again to this great group of JUDDD BUDDDs!!!!

I have not drank yet on JUDDD. I had parties to attend the first two weeks I was on it, but since I was so sick I did not go. Tomorrow I will be going to a party in the evening and doing a MD - I will most likely have a glass of wine. I may have a glass or two on Easter also - going to see how it goes.
I know most people eat more when they drink, but I hardly eat at all. LOL - My husband usually has to remind me to eat, as I am enjoying my beverage and socializing food is always the last thing on my mind. I guess that is a good thing.

Ok, so as of my 2 week marker... it was time to head to the grocery store.
i still have a sneaking suspicion that a bit of alcohol might actually help weightloss.

as much as i hate wine, i decided i would buy a couple bottle of red wine.
(it has the good stuff needed for this woe i guess =)
here is how i bought it:
DIRT CHEAP AND AS RED AS POSSIBLE

a few days ago i weighed MORE than i did when i started. im blaming pizza even though i didnt go over my calories.
anyway, ive been needing to switch my uds/dds.
so for the last couple days i have been having an early dinner.
easter way an UD so monday i did 1500 calories for the early dinner and then before bed i tossed back a glass of red wine. the next day i was around 2000 calories and before bed a glass of red wine. im going to estimate that the wine was about 8 to 10 ounces.
i guess i did 2 low mid days back to back. i am "allowed" almost 1000 calories on dds anyways.
ok, so to the point. i was down after the first day and at a new low this morning.
coincidence ...perhaps, we shall see.
im might continue on with 24 hour fasts with a goodnight toss of red wine and see what happens. today was suppose to be my new UD.
but honestly, im not sure im going to lose well eating the normal juddd way.
i just think its to many calories still. i know i COULD lose weight with juddd
but since im so big im thinking i SHOULD be able to drop 3 pounds a week eating 3500 calories every other day.

i think im going to do a fast5 mix or something like it. i guess one meal a day around 7 and a glass of red wine around 1am. (my sleep has been a little weird though, and my sleep NEVER is weird lol)
im just going to TRY to use common sense. on up days i go over board, fast the entire next day. on UDs i only eat dinner ill fast for 24 hours and have dinner again the next day.
basically fast a full day after large UDs to equal out the calories.
with the red wine before bed.
ive also been putting time on the treadmill, probably 60 to 90 minutes per day.
a guy my size who has flipped everything about his old ways should be dropping a few pounds a week.
a mix of juddd/fast 5 i guess??
if tomorrow is another down weigh in or even close after UD
ill be verrrry happy

once down is nothing
2 downs in a row is something to note
3 downs in a row and im onto something
=)

Glad to see this thread! I like to have a glass of wine a few nights a week. Once a week I go out with a group to Mexican on Friday nights and they order 2 pitchers of margaritas! If it's my UD I can partake! Yay! On my DD I will try not to even go out to eat like I did while on P2 of HCG. I guess I need to look and figure out how many calories are in a Margarona/Coronarita whatever the various names are for the corona dunked down into a frozen margartia! I usually have one of those once every couple of months.

yeah, margaritas is full of sugar.
im thinking if you have a LOW DD
you could probably have a glass of RW to help the losses and not even count the calories
but this is just a guess. im NOT drinking on higher UDs.
im thinking empty stomach on DDs.

im very nerdy lol

NOT drinking on UD's...That's when I will choose to! LOL

The margaritas at this place we go to aren't even really "Green" looking they are mostly alcohol! That's a plus! Less sugar!
