I've been doing them off and on for months and I love the way they make me feel. You also get results in the form of shaping up and they burn fat better than any other sort of exercise. I never had the time or inclination for hour long cardios and they make you hungry. ZWOWS just make me feel relaxed and energised.
They did long term tests on runners and found they all gained fat after a year of serious jogging. I think HIIT plus just being active is the healthy way to keep fit.
The combination of HIIT and JUDDD is state of the art for keeping healthy and lean.

I second HIIT and being active. Steady-state cardio just teaches your body to become more fuel efficient (read: burn fewer calories doing the same activity.)
