Carla it sound to me as if your break was fine. You enjoyed your family, the food and the fun, and you didn't go berserk!
That is what I really find so astonishing about this way of eating, we stray a little sometimes, but it is so simple to get back on track with our up and down rotations. There is no guilt, so we aren't tempted to throw in the towel. It is a win win situation. |

Kathy that's great! You are dropping like crazy these days. What numbers are you using for UD/DD?
Suze--sorry for all the stress. You are doing great considering all the challenges to staying on track. Carla--sounds like a lovely time. I'm cleavage challenged too, so totally understand the swim suit issues. Agreeing with Kissa that sometimes a break is called for, and when it's done, just start up the rotation again and all is well. LOVE that about JUDDD. Hi Sophie! Had a wonderful Easter with the family. I didn't stuff myself, and stayed with my paleo plan (thankfully, SIL had lots of salad, veggies and fruit along with the ham, so I could fill up without feeling deprived without the casseroles and sides I couldn't eat). Enjoyed my slice of paleo pumpkin pie with coconut whipped cream too. Enjoying the empty feeling of fasting for my DD today (until lunch). Not sure how it happened, but my house is a disaster, so today's exercise will consist of some major picking up and cleaning.

Hi all - hope you all enjoyed your time with friends and family. I am up 3 lbs and not surprised - I swear I ate more desserts than normal food, and TOM is about a week away. I am sure it will be gone in a few days.
The weekend was crazy busy with family and friends, and I also make jewelry part time from home and I received an order for 10 bracelets someone wanted right away for a baby shower - I stayed up late and made them last night, so I would not have to take a break from my work week. I want to be done working on Thurs this week so I can have Friday off to get a pedicure and some waxings done! Have a great day

Good Morning all - well was my weigh in this morning and took measurements. Measurements I was down .5 to 1 on all and my weight I was down 3.8. I had to step on scale at least 4 times to believe it. Then I got my old scale out and that one showed me 2 pounds even more down from the new scale. So I don't know if its a fluke with weight or if whoosh fairy visited me. But I will take it. Even though I didn't track over weekend and ate things I knew weren't in my calorie range I did drink LOTS of water. Can attest to the fact that we made lots of stops on drive home
Love that JUDDD is working for me and that this is so EASY!! Now it is to track and exercise. I am not letting myself get in the mindset that hey you didn't track you lost you can do that. Because I know it doesn't always work that way and tracking is a key! March lesson to remember ![]() I was reading a good book and so didnt get to bed until almost 1 this morning so didn't get up to exercise at 5. But dh is gone tonight so supper for me and kids can be later so I will exercise after work. I like in morning better but gotta do what ya gotta do. I moved on to the next week in C25k and boy is that kicking me and I am determined to master it. I have been trying to be gluten free, other than I experimented a bit Saturday night and had a hamburber.. yesterday mouth was tender. Today however mouth feels almost normal . Daughter is staying off gluten also, whenever she does have it she get diarrhea. Maybe its a hereditary thing?? Better get back to work, UD for me today also. Happy JUDDDING

Well I am up 4 pounds today but it was expected with all the sugar I ate plus we snacked really late last night. I know it will be gone before the end of the week so I'm not in a panic. LOL
Tina.....I've been doing 1750 UDs and DDs are usually 300-400 (usually all at my evening meal) with a complete fast once a week. And the last four weeks I have had one 'free, way over the top' day each week. LOL And while the majority of what I eat is still low glycemic (except on those free days) I'm eating a lot more *good* carbs than I did before. I like the fasting (esp. after those free days) and want to continue even after maintenance. |

Scale showed up one pound this morning, but by mid-morning (after the 4th visit from Bernice !!), it was gone and I was back at 125.
Ok, here's the dress. You can't see it in the pic, but there is a subtle all over leaf pattern in the chiffon material. The shrug is a sweater with small, rock shaped beading around neck and cuffs. ![]() |

Feel like I haven't been here in ages (3 days), and don't even think I've posted on this thread.
First - is it just me or are they changing the boards??? Everything looks weird and the emoticons are only half-existent! Second - I'm really ready for the Magic to hit me. The 5 lb. loss I have in my siggy keeps bouncing up and down and although my chart shows a downward trend, I'm not really going anywhere. Wednesday marks 4 weeks since beginning JUDDD and my patience is beginning to slip a bit. Not really asking for advice, just needed to mini-vent. ![]()

It could be from extra carbs if you ate them on Easter yesterday (they still cause bounces up on the scale on JUDDD if very many of them are eaten), or if you had ham or other salty meat, the sodium retention. Anyway, you're doing great, and soon it will go back down. ![]() |

This dress isn't actually vintage--but it is probably pre-vanity sizing, at least to the extent it is these days. Thanks for the kind words.

Thank you Phyl. I did feel great in that dress. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype, but it did. I'll let my gma know there is someone interested in her shoes. LOL
Thank you too Adi. I think I'm going through a bit what Sophie did not so long ago--my image of me not matching what others see. So, I'm trying to take my words to her to heart. Last edited by mykidsteacher; 04-09-2012 at 06:54 PM.. |

Today is a good day. I told dh he had the girl he married back again. I'm at the weight I was when we got married all the way back when I was 25! And since I've seen it 3 days in a row, it's MINE!
Headed back into maintenance. And I can now say, for the first time in my adult life, I don't have any more weight I wish to lose. If more slides off in maintenance, so be it, but I am not trying to lose weight. Thank you JUDDD BUDDD's for helping me stick with it when I was so frustrated early on. And thank you for all the sweet comments on me and the dress (I can't lose anymore anyway, because then the dress will get too big. ROFLOL). |

Tina, you look so pretty in the dress. Bet people walk past you in the street thinking, "Now there's a naturally slim and beautiful woman who has never struggled with her weight!" Good for you on reaching maintenance. Now relax and enjoy
