Stuffed artichokes sound yummy!
I ran 1.5 miles this a.m. and it felt soooooo good that I wonder why I don't do it more often. That and my regular workout with weights got my day off to a good start. And......the scale dropped to 121.6!!!! Another new low and after my horrible weekend too! I'm just on top of the world about that and beginning to think I really could get to 120. With my old WOE it would have taken me another day or two to take off what I put on with my splurges and with JUDDD not only did I come back down but I lost some to boot. Doing the happy dance here. |

I am drooling thinking about those stuffed artichokes. I am always in charge of desserts or snack when we go to parties. I am making spicy cinnamon brownies, cannolis and oatmeal raisin cookies.
I think I am feeling yuck today because TOM is a week away. My legs feel really really heavy especially my calves. I am just going to relax tonight and see how they feel in the morning and decide if I should work out. |

Kathy that is great! I'm looking at numbers I never thought I'd see again too. It does make you want to keep trying for more. LOL. I suppose at some point I'll be happy to just maintain.
Tanya, glad you had a great day! Cindy, I say lower it to 25 since it's a nice number, and then don't sweat it. No need to stress. Or think about what weight would make you really reign in because there is NO WAY you want to go above it, and make that your goal. It's more a 'trigger weight' (as in triggering you to do something about it) rather than "goal" at that point. Good DD today. And back to my new low, which makes me very happy, especially since it came after an UD.

Kids had to do their egg hunt inside today since it's drizzly out. We always do it the day before Easter since we go to one or the other Grandma's for dinner right after church on Easter Sunday. Heading to BIL and SIL's this year. Easter shouldn't do too much damage, since my milk allergies preclude me eating any chocolate, and the only food available to me at Easter dinner tomorrow will be meat, fruit, veggie tray and salad. However, I DO plan to take along my vegan pumpkin pie, since I can't have cake either and we are celebrating birthdays for a niece and nephew at the same time.
Going for a MD today to change my rotation for tomorrow. We'll take pics after church, so I'll share pics of "the dress" next week. |

It is a MD for me and I am not hungry
Yup sick again! I cannot believe this! Not as bad as last time, but I am trying to rest, so I can attend a birthday party later. Hopefully I will want to eat something there. I was at 117.6 this morning. |

I posted this in the food thread then thought, it is general chit chat really.
"I have had such a wonderful day. Went to see the most amazing piece of theatre this afternoon, and I mean amazing. I am so privileged to live in London. It did include a small coffee ice cream in the interval, a Margarita afterwards. (The play was 'The Master and Margarita'.) Then a dinner of lobster risotto, and a huge goats cheese and avocado salad with bread and olive oil to dip. And red wine. Don't wish to be a bore, but have I ever told you, I love JUDDD. You know Kissa, your day sounds lovely!!!! My mom and I used to go to a dinner theater once a year and it was always an amazing time!! We stopped going about 3 years ago when the place burned down. I do miss that place. You always got a meal to go with the theme of the play. I remember going to see Phantom of the Opera, and we had little cucumber sandwhiches, and soup and things that you would of seen at that time frame the play would of happened. Another really good one was Sound of Music and we had all kinds of german foods. It was just great!!!!!!! I really wish I could of taken my daughter with us one time!!! We have been searching but we cant find one close to go to now!!!

Cindy, that sounds lovely.
You know, I was thinking about my grandma's dress, and how most people wouldn't be excited about a hand-me-down from their 95 yo grandmother. But y'all just don't know my grandmother. She is a very stylish lady, and still quite perky. We had a bday party for her in Jan, and she was out on the dancefloor quite a bit. She uses a walker because she's a little unstable, and her bones are brittle so if she fell it wouldn't be good. But with a partner to steady her, she can still cut a rug. LOL And she's quite the clothes hound. Shoes too, goodness does she have shoes. Tragically, my foot is 1/2 size bigger than her, since she can no longer wear heels, all of hers are just sitting unworn and unloved. It's actually not the first dress I've worn that was hers, that honor belongs to a black dress I wore to a college dance. It was hers from when she was 20 or so, in the 1940's, and was AMAZING. Not sure where it is now. Wish I did. |

Hey adorable little Kissa!! Feel I haven't conversed with you in a while somehow. Easy to get lost here these days.
I'd like to trade lives with you for a few days! Let's see, if you were here in Dallas at my house, you'd be in the big middle of pretty extensive re-modeling going on. It is NOT fun. Has been somewhat challenging eating the right way too when you don't have a kitchen. Anyway...it sounds like you make the most of life and that is a wonderful thing. I know you said one time you were a blessed woman. That means you are humble, which makes me like you even MORE!!! Tina, your grandmother sounds delightful. You know, even if a darling dress was considered vintage, that would still be a very "cool" thing to have and wear! Can't wait to see it. Hey, I wear a size 7 shoe!! Just sayin......![]() Hi Speck!! Hope all is very well with you. ![]() Phyl ![]() |

I was in total shock this a.m. My scale showed 120.6. Tomorrow it will be up 3-4 pounds because I'm having sugar today and that always causes me to retain a lot of water. But I know before the end of the week I should get pretty darn close to the same number.

I have been stressed beyond belief since I started JUDD on 3/26, and like many people I stress eat. Thanks Lord for not putting any more pounds on this old body! So, back on track today, which is an MD for me, and then I will have my DD tomorrow! I really think this is the best plan. That being said I have to use maximum will power to stay within my DD limits. Seriously, period, end of discussion. All of you seem to be doing so well and I want a me too soon to be added to the ranks. Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I just caught up on the posts I missed being gone since Fri. We met my bil and family in Minneapolis for weekend. It was nice. I did lots of walking at Mall of America. Did bring my exercise clothes with to do this morning, but I slept in instead. I will exercise tomorrow morning. I did work out on friday morning also. So had weekend off.
I didn't track food but I think Friday was ok and yesterday was UD and I had Dairy Queen last night so I know I went way over. Today suppose to be a md but ended up in my minds numbers a MD. UD or should I make it a DD tomorrow and back to tracking all I eat? It was hard to track when not eating at chain places where you can put counts in. I did eat a lot of fresh fruit and drank tons of water. I did buy a swimsuit and for the first time in about 5 years went to the hot tub and pool with kids. I got the top of the suit a little too big, but it worked. It might shrink once washed. Just need more in the cleavage area ![]() Still fighting the sores in my mouth. They are cleared up but still have this metallic weird feeling in mouth. Hopefully it is all on the way of healing and be done with this once and for all. In reading the posts sounds like lots of ups and downs but with JUDDD rebounding and the good feelings return. Feels good to be home again and back on plan with JUDDD. Although I feel I did pretty good and not went off plan totally like when on other diets. I know this is the plan for me.
