OUR fund raiser to wipe out cancer 5k run went well.
We runners that have been rehabbing since Dec, did finish without injuries!
We have 6 of us in our running group. It's our first time back running together since Dec. It's usually me that's has problems with back or knees, during or afterwards. I DID GREAT FOR ME! I'm very happy. 3-1 miles in 34 mins. My best time if member ing correctly is 33:??. My long term goal is to finish in 30 mins. Hummm dropping 3 mins by next summer is a big challenge. My shorter goal is just getting to keep running. I'm not really interested in the better time so don't no why I say it. But suppose to have a goal! My knees did great. Have also lost head way in my breathing. But that's not a concern. I have been practicing the Chi technic at running. Think it's helping my bones. We all went for sea buffet night before the run. I did great until a big slice of coconut cream pie followed me back to my table. Yikes it was soooo good. i can still visualize that gourgous piece of pie. Very silly to do. But it had been along time since having something over the top in calories, it was probably 500 c. Good day everybody! |

I feel very proud of you when I read this! You did a great job with running, and you're doing a great job with JUDDD. (Which is so wonderful that it forgives you that piece of pie. LOLOL)
Good job. |

Great job EI! I am so NOT a runner, and have no desire to be. But I admire those who can do it. (I ruined my legs with gymnastics in 9th grade and now get horrible shin spints with even a small amount of running).
Glad you enjoyed your pie! |

Eieio, that is amazing. You are a JUDDD miracle. I am afraid I couldn't share your joy in the pie. Coconut....only do fresh.
