Update on dh & ds

Ds is down about 7lbs and he's not doing the extremes that dh & I are. and he LIKES it. He says he just feels better. So that's great!

DH, who complained like a 2 yo but still struggled through it said to me yesterday.

"I need a down day today"

LOL

I think he's down about 9lbs.

We had 2 up days in a row which were almost like FDs really.

I'm having BAD Bernice issues recently. So bad that if I didn't have to leave the house today at 5:30 I'd be drinking Castor Oil. I'm up 2 but I'm sure once my body works itself out I'll be back down those 2 in no time.

Lots of water & coffee on my agenda today along with high fiber & fatty foods.

I was wondering how old your son is that is doing JUDDD. I have 3 boys and the middle child is a little concerned about his weight. the other 2 are normal weight. I try not to say too much other than tell him I want him to be healthy and that my wish for him is to not have to struggle with his weight like I have. He could stand to lose about 30 lbs. how is your son doing his DD?

That's wonderful! And isn't it ever so much easier on the cook if everyone is doing the same eating plan. Lucky you! KUTGW!

This is great!

Have you tried magnesium for your Bernice issues? I take magnesium each night before bed and am regular as clockwork first thing in the morning.

There's a magnesium thread here somewhere that mentions the best kind to take. I use Natural Calm.

Yay! My husband is still doing OK but he's whining a bit about the down days, he hates not having Coke.

Awesomeness

My hubby is down almost 15 pounds in 6 weeks, he says his waist skin jiggles when he goes up and down the stairs.

and my sons may try this too, they bodybuild and are willing to give IF a try. Yay for families getting healthy together without stress!

Yep magnesium was what I reached for first. Now i have some metamucil which is psyillum husks (never knew that). I have castor oil because I use it for cleaning my face mixed with olive oil and it works good.

I'm not monitoring ds on his DDs too much because I don't want to cause any issues. I know he either doesn't eat before school (this is not new) or he has a protein shake. Lunch is an apple & yogurt or a protein bar. We have 100 calorie bags of microwave popcorn he eats when he gets home sometimes. Then eats sandwiches and whatever we have for snacks on UDs.
