sigh....trying this *again* ....i so want this woe to work. i need PATIENCE!!! so am trying *once again* (back to JUDDD starting april 5)

4/5 -- DD -- 138.0
4/6 -- UD -- 137.6
4/7 -- DD -- 139.6

4/9 -- DD -- 140.0 (yes, enjoyed easter eats...but happy it was only a bounce of 1.8)

so yesterday was a DD. i had 2 meals totaling 310 cals, 5g of fat, 50 g of protein, 10 carbs, lots of water. i was only down 1.6 of the 2.2 i was up after tuesday's UD.

monday's DD was one meal, 563 cals, 36g of fat, 38g of protein, 14 net carbs, lots of water. i lost 2.2 after this DD.

input??

my cals are 330 DD (20%WLM) -- 1650-ish UD (not counting, trying to more intuitive here)

soooo, will try MUCH harder to enjoy my UD without going overboard today. b/c my general trend is creeping up and i don't like that one bit....but i know i need to just keep doing the UD, DD rotation to give it a chance. i'm also wondering if the mild cold i have been fighting which has now, i think, turned into a mild sinus infection is playing any part.

My thoughts: You are just starting right? I didn't loose the first week but the second week it kicked in and I started losing. Give it time.

Also, for me, the weight loss doesn't make sense. I've lost after up days and gained after down. I've lost after down days and gained after up. I've maintained after both up and down days. Yesterday I was up 2 lbs from April 1st. Today I'm down 2.5 lbs since yesterday (down 1 from my April 1st weight). It doesn't make any sense. I can't corrrelate my losses or gains to what I ate the day before. What matters is the trend is down.

I bet if you give it more time for the JUDDD to kick in its magic your trend will be down too.

Today was weigh in day and I'm down another two pounds for a total of nine pounds in four weeks!!!!! I can not even remember when I weighed this. And it is soooooo easy!!!! My down days are M,W,T.

Still here! Just over three weeks on a modified JUDDD (calories should be 500/2050 and I'm doing 800/1800-1900 after two previously failed attempts) and still loving it. TOM came and made my numbers go crazy (along with two up days Easter weekend) but the numbers are finally back where they should be.

Goal for April is as far into onederland as I can get.

Goal for April: Hit a new "bounce" range of between 190 low to 193.8 high. (My current low weight is 193.8)

April 1 (after UD) = 196.2
April 2 (after MD) = 194.2
April 3 (after UD) = 196.8
April 4 (after DD) = 194.8
April 5 (after UD) = 196.8
April 6 (after MD) = 195.4
April 7 (after UD) = 195.2 -bit of loss after UD is a good thing!
April 8 (after DD) = 194.0
April 9 (After UD) = 196.8 Enjoyed Easter food!
April 10(After DD) = 195.8 Still retaining water (probably the ham & carbs)
April 11(After UD) = 197.2 Think it's time to pull back on carbs and salt, tighter rings, swollen ankles
April 12(After DD) = 194.4 Much betta! Whew!

note: last month it took me 11 days of bouncing up and down before I started to drop. Patience. May be a pattern here.

Thank you TryingJUDDD, Mykidsteacher and Luna! I was really surprised at the drop. I've been eating pretty much what I want, just keeping within the calorie cap. Yesterday I had an apple for breakfast, EAS protein shake mid morning, a romaine salad with 4 oz. chicken and lo-cal French dressing for lunch and 2 cups asparagus for supper. I did drink more water than usual yesterday too.

I have to get B12 shots once a month and I usually will have a slight gain right before I'm supposed to get it and a drop right after. Maybe that explains why it was going up. I got the shot on Tuesday so I would have thought the drop would have been yesterday. Oh well, I'll take this.

I'm almost afraid to see what tomorrow will bring!
